I think that there’s only one thing holding him back from 100% having the mono-cure, and that is injury risk. We’ve seen other players that size get hurt like Yao Ming and the bigger a player is, ankle and Leg injuries become more and more concerning.
Yep. He has incredible skill and potential. But that fear of injury prone sits at the front of the mind. I hope he proves me wrong though. Would be nice for another new dominant player to show up.
Nice great vid👍👍👍
I’m not trynna jinx anything… but, imagine Victor ends up being the biggest *Bust* in NBA history
honestly would be the biggest let down in sports history, he’s a generational talent, let’s hope for a long healthy career
Yeah man I think the hype is good but I can't help but imagine if he's just a solid player and just named a bust when he averages a cool 15 /10 or gets injured
LeBron was ready for the NBA at 16. Victor's body is almost NBA-ready but not there yet without risking serious injury going up against embiid, jokic, etc. I think he will get there when he adds some more strength. Lebron had a nba ready body at 16 and was uber-talented like victor.
Victor is already NBA ready, he is 7´3 230 pounds right now, Kareem was 7´2 225 and played 20 years, and guys like KD, Mobley, Claxton, Bol Bol, Ingram have the same body type and they don’t have any problem playing in the NBA.
Victor already play against grown men and he dominate he is the French league Top scorer and Top shot blocker so he is definitely NBA ready
The basketball world picked up on him after his first game my friend. Some ppl were just extremely late to the party 🎉 he’ll definitely play some 3 position in the nba
he can play, but i was outside when bron was selling out college gyms & playing on ppv. it was just different.
Kareem and Lebron are still the most ready for NBA players straight out of HS. Even though Kareem went to UCLA, he dominated the varsity team in his first scrimmage against them as a freshmen and I have no doubt that he would have given NBA players in the late 60s just as much trouble. He basically wasted a whole year bc freshmen couldn't be on the varsity team even though he was by far their best player as soon as he enrolled. Lebron could have gone first overall as a 17 year old and would almost certainly still a top 10 pick as a 16 year old. Luka was the closest we've seen to that but Victor might be even more ready than that.
Victor would have gone #1 this past draft as well tho
J Kidd was ready out of high school. He was damn near 20 years old

Has potential but still a lot to prove
the hype is real, just wait till he actually plays nba talent then will see if he's that good, until then can't call him the best of anything
He's the greatest prospect since lebron James, just like how Wiggins and Zion were both considered the greatest prospect since lebron James.
He pretty good not no LeBron James he have a long longgg way to go .
They’re talking about when lebron was 18 lmfao
Stop talking rubbish. This is a early stage for the kid. Plus lebron James was more explosive in high school.
It's called having a different play style
I disagree on Victor being better that lebron at the same age but your argument isn't working. Lebron was more explosive but then I can say that victor is taller and shoot better. There are just different players, with different styles and different positions.
Lebron at 18 wasn’t this… at all. he couldn’t shoot or defend like this and he still can’t😂
No shit he was more explosive lol Lebron was 6´8 at that age Victor is 8 inches taller than him, the difference between Bron and Victor is like the difference between Chris Paul and Lebron or Curry and Gobert, he is that big
Bad defence and 🐌.
lebron "exceeded every expectation that was put on him?" really? lol. lebron is the greatest hype fail in nba history.
I don't get it, how was he a fail?
@@adamcanty8603 king? really? he can't even dominate his own era. He's good but king? no defense, lacks leadership, no takeover mentality, no respect for other players that dominated the game, flops... again, he's good but king? i don't think so.
@@taningh he did dominate his own era what are you talking about, you are just a hater bro
@@taningh can't hear you over 4 rings and 4 MVP's
@@adamcanty8603 steph and giannis would disagree with that self proclaimed "king" of the league title
LBJ, MJ, Kareem.... Child please, def not Victor yet
