- When it comes to ammeter players entering the NBA, we’ve seen a lot of hype over the years. Beginning the 2000s from Kenyon Martin to Kwame Brown, Yao Ming, Greg Oden, Kevin Durant, Derrick Rose, Steph Curry, John Wall, Andrew Wiggins and Jabari Parker, Ben Simmons, Lonzo Ball to Zion Williamson the latest down the line of super hyped prospects since Lebron James. Lebron has been the most hyped player ever to enter the NBA as he had superstar written all over him. He was also at the right time as well, where he could come straight from high school and begin his journey early to where he is now, about to be the all time leader in points scored. But today is jump out the window day, because I’ve seen a prospect I never thought I’d see during my generation of watching basketball. One that I think won’t have all the talent but can’t stay healthy or keep his weight under control, one that won’t have a never before seen peak but injuries cut that short, or one crowned next king but has mental issues he may never get over. This one has all the ingredients to be the face of the league one day and at the right time, where the last is just about out the door and other than him, I don’t see another coming anytime soon. Here are 3 important reasons Victor Wembanyama will be a superstar in the NBA. 3 Reasons Victor Wembanyama Will Be A SUPERSTAR In The NBA (INSANE) Stunted Growth

With his skillset, do you think this will be the best to enter the league since #lebronjames ?
For sure. Going back further, VW is the best center prospect since Shaq. Not built to be as good rebounding or in the post. But I could see him leading the league in scoring and blocks, which I don't know if anyone has ever done.
@@derrickscott9469 33pts 12rbs 4asts 3blks. That's what he posted a few days ago. In a 40 minutes game btw. He should be fine with rebounding :)
Get him on steroids before it’s too late 💉
He looks like he has the goods. Maybe he can be as good as Luka.
With the right team in the NBA maybe VW can succeed early in the NBA as the ROTY but who knows maybe MVP as well if he remains healthy and gets the respect of his teammates right away, though I am seeing NBA teams who doesn't have the chance of getting or Drafting him is planning ahead for when he arrives they have the personnel's to try and stop him.
Hes basically the real life 2k demi God we never thought could be real.
🧢, So we’re going to just forget about KP?
Ok
@@LordoftheTHOTs you wrong. Lavar ball is the goat.
KP didn’t have the athleticism and handle he does
And Victor has the nerve to have MJ, LBJ, Kobe work ethic. SUPERSTAR for sure.
He has the potential to be a superstar the skills is there, but we gotta keep in mind historically guys that big end up with leg injuries.
Right and that's the reason why I don't understand why the media is already setting him up for failure, because he's definitely too tall and skinny for his weight..
Even if he has injuries i see him having a yao ming type career
Exactly u can tell he's going to be injury prone out the league in 5yrs
I have never been so excited to see a player grow and develop
That one-let pull up 3 at 7’5 is absolutely insane
Never seen a prospect like this along with lebron and rose hes going to be special and I hope he gets stronger and a good foundation for his frame structure
He remind me of a suit up Anthony Davis
Lebron on them Peds my guy
Anthony Bennett was the biggest bust. Although he may not have met expectations due to a number of reasons, Kwame did manage to have an ok 13yr career.
He wasn’t supposed to be number one, that draft was one of the weakest ones ever….limited options and no one good to choose from
@@zer0apologies936 oladipo was decent
Read Anthony Bennet had ZERO ambition and drive. Guessing got the big money....
Great video and I agree with this! Victor Wembanyama plays like a real life created player in NBA 2K. Whatever team that drafts Victor Wembanyama will get an authentic franchise building block.
the next 10 years of nba basketball will be Chet vs. Wemby they will write the leauge history of at least the next decade!
Its crazy that his floor coming into the league is Gobert with a 3.
Luka was hyped but not THIS HYPED
VW is uniquely gifted and an ideal center prospect for the modern NBA. But that kind of height always incurs greater injury risks. Medically, whatever team drafts him should treat him very delicately. Load management. Don't play him through anything. If he stubs his toe, he's out. Would be tragic if his body broke down before potential could be realized.
Totally agree
I hope he stays healthy
Main objective
I been rockin wit you BEFORE all these ppl got here..when you just had 200 subs…I played D1 and pro and could tell we cut from the same cloth..but THIS your best video to this date (in my opinion)…keep bringing the heat King
That T-mac reference is a perfect comparison 👌
If you think this cat can withstand the vigor of an 82 game NBA season..Year, after year for even 5 years straight…You smokin. I wish the kid all the best be we all know how cats with this type of length end up. Praying it’s not the same for him cause he’s a unicorn for sure🙏🏾🦄
I thought u was going to say he was finna be a bust. I was about to be like god dam give the kid a chance😂
It’s ironic because even if he doesn’t pan out, you can just make a stunted growth.
😭😭
Kwame Brown was not a bust. He played more than 10 years in the NBA and he did not have expectations like LeBron.
If you’re drafted 1 the expectations is for u to atleast be a star, he was not that so therefore a bust💀
So we forgot about Anthony Bennett
@@saintdonni3661 I like that one! He play like 4 or 5 years and he supposed to be the next great thing.
@@ayooooo8191 13 years is 13 years. Most lottery picks don’t because stars.
@@johnbarr6204 he was the number 1 pick stop trying to downplay it by saying “lottery picks” he was the first picked out of the lottery that year, get over it, he didn’t become a star not even once in that 13 year career
I think he's a good prospect. I am not a fan of uber tall guys, but he has world class talent. He's Ralph Sampson 2.0
Yeah that's who bro remind me of
Bol bol
@@YungMixx I mean kinda ig that’s the closest modern comparison
Bad comparison!
@@davidgivins4203 Ralph Sampson was actually better. More polished and a better scorer.
Can you do a stunted growth of Ralph Sampson, please?
Ralph Sampson is in H.O.F
Ralph Sampson is in the HOF
@@jamesedwards8575 but he only had 4 good seasons
@@jamesedwards8575 His college resume was the big reason why he was inducted.
Good video.
His nickname should b Cheat Code!!🔥🏀🔥
Assuming he can play in the NBA...🤔
totally agree on all points my man
Wembenyumba finna be in the all star as a rookie.
Reason number 4: He subscribed to Stunted Growth and learned the DOs and DON’Ts
I added to my list of players I would like to see.
Martell Webster, Anthony Randolph and Roy Tarpley.
Good list
Ralph Sampson
Martell's stunt: being John Wall's club buddy 😂
@@MakingMovesMajor That's gangsta
With the hype this dude is getting, if the kid don't put up MJ numbers in his first game people are gonna give him the bust label lol.
Injuries is the only thing that will keep him back
High Celling: Kevin Durant
Mid Ceiling: Bol Bol
Low Celling: Ralph Sampson
To me is not bad comparison
He's kd but 7'4
Low ceiling is yao, Who got injured alot but was so talented whenever he came back he was a top player
@@TellHerNothing and so was Ralph Sampson who has similar skill set with the same height and body frame, thus me saying Ralph Sampson not Yao Ming
@@jovangrant6053 why on earth would you put bol at mid and Ralph who's literally a hof player at low ceiling
@@diamondgamebeats8826 Ralph Sampson had a "INJURY RIDDLED" career also.
So what I am saying when Victor Wembanyama have a NBA Career, if he's injury prone he'll be like Ralph Sampson. When he's healthy KD
ANYTHING ELSE??
Nice clips of the old #1 picks
Looks like you already did it but I tweeted you about making this a series; reasons why these athletes actually did succeed and met or exceeded their potential, especially when thoughts of their success were met with doubt or were thought to be unfit.
Growth Spurt. I do those from time to time.
@@stuntedgrowth my bad 😂
@@T.H.E.O.R.Y. All good. Could've been higher but longevity
You did a stunted growth on Bol Bol but he’s actually having a good season so far Orlando just can’t stay healthy
You the king sneak disser😭😭so damn passive aggressive lol
Maaannnnn somebody finally peep it
Good video. The term superstar is thrown around too often..there are less than 25 superstars in the History of the game. High potential. Yes for sure. 7'4, with fluidity, some what of a rise to the moment performances thus far. The open style of hoops, should help with his smaller frame. There is one, semi-post dominate big now, which is Joel who is approaching 30, has some weight and injury issues. I agree, in today's NBA you need multiple 6'6 to 6'11 guys who can create and guard across the floor. You're not winning otherwise. In the last 20 years it's only Been Steph and Chauncey being 6'3 and under to be the best player in the Finals.
Once Bron, KD and steph retire. It's going to be a long time before we see another American superstar. There are currently, non playing in the NBA today and none in the grass roots game. Even if Victor isn't as good. The next 10 years will be dominated by Greek, Luka, Joker health pending.
Thing is does he have charisma? That is a trait of a superstar. Dude has a great upside based on genetics only. Lebron was a team player out the gate in high school. Thing is victory plays like a guard
I like he’s potential
Tall and frail, that’s a recipe for injury
Kwame coming for u for that last last part 🤣
I think and him and the kid in Orlando would be studs
Nah dawg D-Rose was the most official . Unexpected injuries took his game
this kid on the court is a talent that can do whatever he wants
Have you done tony mitchell from alabama 2009-2012 yet? I tried to search for it but didnt see it, i always wonder what happened to dude.
Bruh was nice
Facts, he played for Miller Grove out of Decatur, Ga. They smashed my cousin nem' in the state 4A semi's... And get this ,, he was only a sophomore n he was injured..
He better get on that Giannis routine with that frame
I'm holding you to this
He's Kareem a dual Jabar with a 3-shot and a guard dribble
Giannis is the next face he is in a league of his own right now
I can’t wait to see bro hoop
Bol Bol lately doing everything he does & no one is talking about it
I wish him the best but the realist part of me also says that he'll prolly get injured. Look what happened to chet. Him and chet share a similar frame , and with that frame it's like an injury waiting to happen. I hope I am wrong tho.
The nba has numerous players above 7'1 who had lack luster or short careers due to injuries.
Victor is actually 30+ pounds heavier than Chet
The NBA also had Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for 20 seasons... So wait and see what happens
Bruh, how many injuries do these big tall lanky trees have to happen for ppl to understand that these types of players do not LAST!? Plus dude on the magic plays the exact same way as him.
Bol Bol right... this dude is no different
I didn't know CZcamsrs were tanking for this kid too.
Lmao who’s my player is that at the end
He'll be successful but must work to great and healthy to be elite! There are many hidden challenges to being a special NBA player! We'll see!
Jerrod Mustaf….High School All American whose NBA career was short lived due to a off the court incident following the 1993 NBA Finals….
I can’t wait to see him playing for the pistons 🔥🔥
Can you do Jason Kidd?
Bro what 😂 Hes a top 5 pg ever arguably
@@TellHerNothing So you are admitting there was room for growth then.
With all due respect… how is Kwame Brown a bigger bust than Darko Milicic, Adam Morrison, Haseen Thabeet, or Anthony Bennett just to name a a few❓ Please explain this repeated propaganda piece heard by many in media circles without adequate evidence and/or context being provided to substantiate such a claim ❓🧐🤔🤦🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️
Only one of those guys were picked 1st overall. And what do you mean by propaganda? Kwame Brown aint some political leader. Dude's a baller. And plenty of people think Anthony Bennett's the biggest bust of all-time & he never complains
VW will be a NBA star because the NBA says so. He will be their next marketable player and super star to continue to promote the NBA brand.
He'll be on stunted growth soon.
him in a lakers jersey would be epic
MJ is still the perfect combination of everything.
I’m gonna have my future kid play soccer and basketball for sure
This guy and a healthy Zion on the same team would be terrifying
I got him outta the league in under 5 years injuries if not then all you are saying unicorns have a habit of injury
Dirk and Hakeem should mentor Victor
How about nba's history with players above 7'1 being too prone to injuries?
You mean like Kareem
@@oror3751 like ralph sampson, radojevic, smits, muresan, bradley, sabonis, yao. A couple of 7 footers like daugherty, bowie, oden, etc
bro needs to learn the sky hook and just go 18-20 from the floor every game with 10 free throws
I don’t think this will work as well as people think it will.
When I think of players like this with an amazing ability I think of Bo Jackson and what could have been hopefully we can see this come to fruition but I'm waiting
These men are human lets just keep that in mind..
It the one leg runner 3 pointer for me.
Can you do Carmelo Anthony
I wouldn’t be surprised if this kid is a bum or average player.
I hope he lives up to the hype but his current competition is no indication on how he will adapt to the big boys.
We’ll see. 🤷🏾
Yea he’s pretty good man but idk, bol bol is kinda like the same talent , like he isn’t that much greater then bol bol but we’ll see
Can we get a John Starks?
This dude will have a stunted growth very soon just yall wait
Ok keyboard warrior🤡🤡
Victor is an amazingly skilled 7' 5" player but he is so terribly thin, how can he survive in the rough and tumble NBA?
In 2028. We will be watching the what happened video
i hope not
Hopefully you won't be having a stunted growth episode on him in ten years. I just hope injuries don't stunt him.
The NBA paid so much to these player and reporters to put this Wemby in this position IMO he’s peak is just another average star “IF” 25 ppg and 11 rbs 🤷🏽♂️
He should learn Kareem's skyhook his would be better and take it to another level
Let's see how he pans out when he reaches the NBA im not buying in to hype ever again....
Waiting for another video about him in 5 years explaining why he busted
Me too
He's got a skillset but I think hes gonna have frail body issues.. Hopefully he can link up with Giannis on how to build his body for a lanky frail built guy
Victor Wembanyama will not even play his rookie season. He will suffer some kind of off-season injury and the team that picks him will be "careful" and keep him out for the entire 2023-24 season. We'll finally see glimpses of him in 2025... where yet he'll have another setback and won't finish that season. We'll finally get to see him in a full season in 2026 and he'll be a pretty good player who will devolve into a role player (i.e. Kristaps Porzingis)... That's how the NBA goes nowadays.
Magic should tank, imagine Bol Bol, Mobamba, that young center they have and victor. 😮
AND Paolo. (Or is that who you meant by "young center"?)
@@301.allday Wendall Carter Jr maybe?
Finally somebody who see the similarities with these 3 players... Ralph Sampson to make a 4th
Buslife😊
Anyone else peep that turn around tmac hit kobe with? Sheesh
One of none
Magic Johnson.....
Wembanyama = Pre Injury Ralph Sampson
Please explain to me how Kwame Brown is even close to the biggest bust after a 10+ season career when Anthony Bennett barely lasted 4. Yall just run with whatever narrative yall hear others pushing.
Victor reminds me of porzingis
Imagine Giannis with 3p range and more mobility.....this is the result
Jason Kidd 2011
Rondo won a ring in 2008 averaging over 8 assist per game. Was 8 the chosen # because you remembered Kyle Lowery in 2019?
He did it before Jason Kidd in 2011. Kidd is still the last guy to do it.
@@chrismathgenius Kidd averaged 5.5 assist in 2011. In the last 20 years, Rondo is the only PG to average 8 or more assist in a championship season.
V.-DUB MY MAN NEEDS A NICK NAME
He 7’3 ,7’4 with shoes
If he was 6’5 I would buy in. His height worries me.
