I like the design a lot! Very nice in my opinion, unless it is posted, I don’t like the way it looks then... I’ve seen two other finishes... The LX with rose gold or silver colored trim :) (which I would love to have, but I’m 95% sure it will not happen, because there are too many other nice pens :P) I like it, but I have 1 or 2 things I don’t like about it. The metal of the cap looks rather thin an the plastic/metal threads of the cap make me worry if they wear out over the years. Yet again, I haven’t heard of cases where this has happened, so that is good. :) I appreciate the ergonomics, they are quite nice. Better than you would think while looking at it. Finally a video where you can see something of the pen :) Good videos about the Imporium are very rare :) I wish this video had been around when I was looking for an Imporium, but then I found a deal I couldn’t deny. :)
I supposed you'd get the same writing experience by attaching a Lamy gold nib to a Lamy Aion. That's my favorite fountain pen combination.

Hello Herr Keks, thanks for your kind comments. The metal of the cap is substantial - it weighs 13g. Overall, it's a lovely pen to use.
