5:06 believe it or not, in one of their live performances (i saw it in a compilation), Leo hit this entire note set almost one octave higher than the original key it was in! He has one of the prettiest voices in kpop in my opinion.

He has this wonderful voice sadly, at that time he's not using proper technique... don't get me wrong, I Love Taekwoon, he is my bias...hope Jellyfish Ent will take care of him properly than just relying on Leo's own ability...

Ahhh, I was so excited and looking forward to this reaction the whole week! Because VIXX are my kings and VIXX LR are for me one of the best sub units to ever exist in kpop 😍
Beautiful Liar is the debut of LR consisting of main vocalist Leo and main rapper Ravi. The concept is about two sides of a person: Leo representing the liar who doesn’t show his true emotions and is rather quiet and calm on the outside whereas Ravi is the opposite. He represents the turmoil and emotional chaos inside this person, his true feelings that are being suffocated throughout the mv. And eventually Ravi is losing to Leo and he leaves him.
The concept is deeply thought-out and the mv filled with lots of imagery and symbolism. Just to name some: the clothes they’re wearing and colour palette that is assigned to Leo and Ravi or the fact that Leo has sparkly eye make up as if he’s about to cry whereas Ravi‘s eyes are red rimmed, showing he‘s already cried.
LR followed their debut with, so far, their only comeback Whisper which, to me, concludes the story of Beautiful Liar and is kinda a happy ending to the story 😊
So yeah, thank you my favourite four dearest people on the internet for reacting to two of the boys that always bring me joy and lots of other emotions with their music. I hope you’ll continue to discover more of the, thank you ❤️❤️❤️❤️

The E in Leo is pronounced like the E in Let, and yes he is the one with black hair. Also fun fact: Ravi has left the company (Jellyfish Ent.) but is still a part of VIXX ❤

He’s still with jellyfish but only for vixx activities and has his own company for solo work and his own artists

When you read the lyrics you understand the mv
for the first time Im seeing someone not fell in love with beautiful liar ( its totally fine tho). its actually one of the most famous song by VIXX and until now everyone I saw just loved it. so, its interesting to see someone like but not love. Personally I love the song and the Ravi's rap part in the song

Yes, that might be the case for them haha 😅 I know that for me, at first I liked Whisper wayy better than BL, but, after a few listens, I came to love the song 💗💗
I have a kind of interpretation about this MV and the next part, Whisper, which I recommend you to watch asap hehe. LR is a person, Left and Right, parts of the same person, and you can compare them with the the archetype Persona and Shadow. One is what you show to people (persona), in this case is Leo (black hair) what is supossed to be "acepted", the Shadow is your real "you", but you hide because maybe is not what is socially acepted, this is Ravi (White hair). This is why it is called Beautiful Liar, because he is lying about who he is, but is to protect his and her feeling, he thinks that he is not Good enough for her, and that is why he let her go, a "White lie"
