The reason why you guys got confused so much visually and musically:
Musically:
The whole video while playing all of the song ONE SHOT, it also played parts of other songs on the album so when it switched to a different song the first time you guys instantly started getting confused and lost
Visually:
The video was basically about a gang whos member gets caught and so to get him back they rob a bank and then theres two endings to this story
1. They kill him anyway after taking the money and so a whole shoot out begins where only one survives
Or
2. The member turns out to be an undercover cop who set this whole thing up to catch 2 gangs red handed.
Either ending the message was clear
Choos a life of crime no matter what way you go or what you do your fucked
You have one shot in life, make it count
Honestly its no wonder you got confused but do realise that music videos are a REALLY REALLY important part of kpop so youll meet alot of kpop music videos like this including the ones you have already seen.

I was thinking that at the end. At every reaction video of K-pop, if it's not dancing or showing money, they never gets the history behind it, and I think... I always get the message throw them, even being western, maybe that why I watch K-pop MV but not pop song videos....cause here you need attention and have an history, but American songs don't have it, and when it does is all chewed up so you can understand but not Interpret. U_U

Non kpop fans never have to use their brains to see stories and messages when watching non kpop music videos (or non asian to be specific cause even cpop and jpop are similar to kpop) bacause they never really care about about the music video.
Theyre used to self praising songs having money and girls in them
Sexy songs having the same old inappropriate stuff in them
And sad songs only somtimes try telling a story but even then they'll keep it real simple
I have noticed that asian music videos really love to go all out with stories theories and lessons learnt from their music videos. And because us fans have gotten so used to it we can keep up with the song and MV at the same time

B.A.P are third generation like EXO and BTS, they were at one point bigger than both groups but their company screwed them over terribly. Look into their history. They’re amazing.
They’re the first group to delve into social issues repeatedly with their own lyrics-not BTS like a lot of people think, B.A.P debuted an entire year before BTS and we’re covering issues since their debut back in 2012. If TS didn’t screw them over they most likely would be as big as BTS is now. It’s sad what happened to them.
I hope many people see this comment and know the truth!
I stanned B.A.P when they debuted because Warrior was something else! It was angry and revolutionary. And I fell in love with the subjects they tackled in their songs. They never disappointed ever since.
TS however, messed up so badly.

B.A.P members themselves filed numerous lawsuits against their company for so many reasons .
The company ignored their health states (some members got realy sick) and focused only on giving them hectic schedules that they couldn't back off from. They were not paid for 3 years! Even though they were so successful and earned the company big money. Their contract was also the worst of all...

There was a point in long time that kpop music videos had a story line or movie- or drama-like. This was one of those.. I think you guys might enjoy the radio edit version of One Shot.
Other great B.A.P tracks that I can highly recommend are "Wake Me Up" and "Hands Up"!

I can tell that a lot of people commenting didn't watch your full reaction. If this is not your cup of tea, then don't watch Skydive. Maybe you should try and watch Wake Me Up or watch the leader, Bang Yongguks, solo mv's.
The Skydive MV, like One Shot, also has a lot of violence. If you want to avoid the violence then I would suggest watching a live performance of Skydive instead of the MV.
This mv have 3 songs, Punch (Intro), One Shot and Coma that appeared during the robbery.
This was 6 years ago and honestly, it was such fresh and never done before. It's really rare to have a storyline. You found it overkill but that's exactly what I liked about it. I thought the mv was pretty clear.
Although maybe a more recent song would do? B.A.P Honeymoon? The group for now are just waiting to end their slave contract with TS so you won't really get much music from them which is shame considering these guys at one point were EXO's rivals but got screwed up by their own company by underpaid+overwork.
they all left TS, Yongguk realised a whole album (and just finished his europe tour), Daehyun is doing the same and soon we will get an album from Zelo and Youngjae as well :)

the overall message of the video, especially with the alternative ending was “gang/crime leads you to only two things, 1. in jail or 2. dead.”
I believe in the mv there were some snippets of other songs from BAP for some scenes. (Please correct me if I‘m wrong.) So this might be the reason the music was a bit jarring for you. So maybe try to listen to only One Shot or as you said watch a performance 😊
Another song from them I would recommend to check out is Wake Me Up. This song has a deep and important meaning, it’s about mental health. The song is really great and I like it a lot. So maybe you could give it a try 😊❤️

B.A.P. (which stands for Best Absolute Perfect) are known for their deep (often dark) lyrics and message within their songs and MVs. They are known for the fact that they aren't afraid to take on some of the bigger societal issues that many people in Korean culture are reluctant to talk about. So what you saw were duel endings to this MV, which showed how no matter how the situation played out, there was no good ending for anyone who chose to take part in criminal activity. The ultimate message in the "One Shot" MV was if you are involved in gangs and crime, no matter how you play things you will always lose. You will either die or you will get caught and go to prison. You only have "One Shot" in life and you better make the right decisions. Its a social commentary on gang culture and the gang lifestyle. B.A.P was making a statement about corruption within society and how no matter what you do if you chose to walk that path it will always turn out bad in the end.

Yesss BAP I recommend you react to honeymoon it’s amazing and visuals just takes my wig every time 😭😭 but B.A.P debuted in 2012 with TS entertainment but in January every member left the company and is now solo the leader Bang Yongguk left in August 2018 Maknae Zelo left in December 2018. In half of all B.A.P song they get shot 😭
I can tell you, they are one of the best group in kpop. It's sad that they didn't go mainstream.
I will say this mv for BAP is iconic its kind of everywhere and ridiculous but I come back for it every once in awhile just because its entertaining to watch. Loved the reaction as always cant wait to see if you react to more BAP they're an interesting group .

BAP definitely liked telling stories in their mvs! Most of what you watched was the song One Shot, but the mv also featured snippets of other songs from the same album! They did something similar a few years later with the Skydive mv. I prefer the song Skydive and the mv definitely looked better than One Shot!
The whole purpose of this song is that you only have once chance in life, so don’t blow it living a violent lifestyle. If you join a gang, eventually you’ll end up dead or in jail (hence the alternate endings).
Also, Zelo was eating grapes on the boat because he was still a minor when this came out, so they couldn’t show him drinking champagne! 😂
If you are up for checking out more BAP, Skydive is good to see how their movie skills got better (or maybe just do a live performance of Skydive). Also, Wake Me Up has a fantastic mv!
Whoever is choosing which songs you react to lately is doing a great job! I can understand everything you guys are saying. I love BAP "One Shot" for the nostalgic factor I think? I remember when it came out in 2013 just thinking it was really different for kpop, and I'm a sucker for a good drama MV so I was super into it. Watching it in 2019 with different trends and being older, I can see how it comes across as too much and maybe even campy to an extent? I think it also depends what someone typically looks for in a song or music video, and I could have predicted before I watched the reaction that you guys weren't going to be into it haha. I'm still glad you watched it though, because I think for a lot of long time kpop fans "One Shot" is a bit of a classic.

They have some of the best vocals and rappers in kpop. so, this song and mv is one of the first from their carrer. they used a lot from this bad boy concept, and actually in 2012~2014 was one of the biggest between boy groups (bts, exo, shinee, vixx etc). and i get it that the clip and history line was "to much killed" and over violent, but that was exactly the ideia. i didn't want to say "you should check out the lyrics too, it's so powerful and relevant" but that's exactly what i'm saying lol. the whole "one shot" ideia is about the meaning of living for real, for searching your dreams and don't be afraid to lose your one chance. that's a part from zelo's rap (the second rapper, that one who came on the floor) that says:

they've told us "something that we already know", and yeah, we love conscious kings.
i appreciate that you guys give it a chance, that you've seen their talent, even behind all the bullets. and i know this mv, concept and ideia is not for every one, but they have a >p.e.r.f.e.c.t< discography, with amazing messages and incredible dancing. they have all that they needed to be famous, except a good and supportive company (t$hit ruining big groups since always).
in conclusion: b.a.p could be knowed for best art possible, in music, cinema, dancing and every other one. stan the kings yall, disband doesn't mean death ok? they're still the royalty in kpop for us babyz~

I really get you guys! When i started to listen to kpop in 2012 they were my favorite group of all, for many years actually. I totally agree with you that this MV it's too much and tbh the violence in this one it's something that i think it's very unnecessary (the use of guns in kpop mvs in general really bothers me). They're SUPER talented as a group and individualy, I think you'd really enjoy them in a more clean concept. If you want to be gagged by them you should check the live performance of "I remember" (SERVING VOCALS, DANCE, EVERYTHING!!!)
