Almost as tight as Wade Wilsons [B-Roll of Deadpool ass grab with ass slap sound efffect.] But let’s just go ahead and talk about Matthew Macfadyen’s mysterious character Paradox because I have a feeling that this man is the secret Big Bad of Deadpool and Wolverine meant to push Marvel Studios’ Secret Wars narrative along! Because this dude is straight up playing Deadpool like an undying, disfigured fiddle. Because I’m gonna be real with y’all…I don’t think Paradox works for the TVA whatsoever.

Deadpool meeting paradox is not a coincidence....beacause all the time line changes he made in the end of deadpool 2 created a paradox...thus metaphorically the whole movie is going to be about paradoxes..

Paradox's English accent could also be a clue. It's common in American film productions to characterize villains with posh English accents. TVTropes calls it "Evil Brit."

Based on this MT I'm calling it now, Paradox is Doom. I don't think it's a coincidence the shot in the trailer with the hooded guy resembles Doom and has got everyone talking, a little foreshadow maybe? Coupled with the Secret Wars comic book and the F4 car..........Not saying the same actor will necessary portray Doom, but as soon as you said you think he's the villain things just started falling into place in my head, he's getting DP to prune everyone ready for Battleworld in the void.

i think the choice of wade is more purposeful than just him being a capable killer/healing factor. maybe paradox acknowledged the fact that he breaks the 4th wall and wants to use that somehow to get his faction the upper hand

Paradox is a Kang/Doom Variant.
Either this or he’s working for one of them. It could be Doom. Or, it could be the Council who now recognizes HWR is gone and they are trying to cause problems in the multiverse.

I think it’s possible that there’s actually 2 TVAs, and Paradox is in charge/part of the TVA of the “non MCU” marvel multi-verse.
Maybe Loki breaking the loom gave Paradox a peek into the MCU TVA, and he needs Deadpool’s help to escape the dying multi-verse that’s been over pruned and collapsing. He tricks Deadpool into bridging the TVAs together somehow, and that is the final straw to start the set off to Secret Wars. That could also explain why the void seems different and why there’s the fox studio logo and characters present.
Edit: Paradox could be in charge of the TVA that was pruned! Ravonna sees a TVA seal in the void at the end of Loki!
Anyway, just a fun theory! Paradox just being a faction leader of the MCU TVA makes way more sense lol.
Paradox is Doom. He takes the castle and Ultron tech and Wanda in Age of Ultron.
Good video and solid theory MT. I think youre on the right track with it not being the "real," TVA. Whether it's a splinter cell or some prior/later version of the TVA from Loki. I do wonder how much control Loki has over the timelines. Like, can he "un-prune," a branch? Will the Alioth grenades still work the same? Ok, enough of "Sean's Strange Sporadic Speculations." I think that when this movie was written they had no idea of how Loki would end, so they will just use the concept of the TVA however they want and just add some lines later to conect with Loki in some way... I don't think they thought about it as hard as we give them credit

I don't a lot of video theory said the same thing about Oroboros. But Oroboros never ended up as even relatively a minor villain in Loki S2.
I feel that Paradox is the same.
I’m probably reading into this, but Paradox welcomes Wade to a wider universe, and seems to know what Marvel is. I think he will be the key to knowing the in universe reason as to why the different franchises/teams are split across universes.
I've always thought the in universe explanation from Loki was a meta commentary on the marvel movie franchises split across different studios. He who remains states there was a multiverse and war broke out as a result of Kang wishing to conquer all.
Enter the MCU. A singular connecting timeline disregarding all previous movie iterations. The Sacred Timeline.
As Phase 4 began we started getting cameos from the previous non MCU movies, to bring that multiverse into relevance as a statement of them getting (almost) all their properties back under their own roof. Loki and the tree.
My exact thoughts were this isn't THE tva, is A tva 👍 think you guys have hit the nail on the head.
Kang said he always comes back. So if a multiversal war has to happen for that then so be it.

What if the TVA in the film isn’t actually the TVA? What if this TVA is somewhere out in the multiverse acting as the TVA and are planning to replace the actual TVA to take advantage of multiverse and that’s what they’re manipulating Wade into helping them with? I’m not sure what the endgame would look like but it’s just a ‘What if…?’ like ‘What if…?’ was What…if-ing for its life.

The fact that he seems to be trying to convince Deadpool that he'll just stick him in the timeline alongside the other heroes should be enough to convince you he's evil. Tva doesn't put anything back, they erase and replace.

I like your theories. And I hope you are right. However the TVA acting differently than those at the end of Loki, and the time loom artwork could unfortunately be one MCU project not being aware of the other recent one. I hope you are right but my money is on the fact that they modeled the TVA on Loki season 1 and not season 2.

I think paradox is gonna set Deadpool up and once Deadpool realizes he tries to do the right thing but instead gets pruned and sent to Goliath with the other Deadpool’s
I partially agree with this. I believe that Paradox will be an antagonist in this film, but I don't believe that he'll be the primary antagonist. I also agree that this film could take place before Loki season 1 since Deadpool used Cable's time device to send himself back to 1979 at the end of Deadpool 2, so that could explain why the TVA's decor looks different than how it does in the Loki series.
As the TVA exists outside of time, the Deadpool interactions could take place before during or after either season of Loki. As MT states the TVA is huge, plus time dilation and travel as literary devices means anything is possible.
I ABSOLUTELY believe this is an alternate/competing TVA -- whether a faction from the Loki's or an alternate reality/alt multiverse/alt universe etc. Fighting for their own chance to "live" as Loki didn't include them in his Tree

I will go on a bit of a tangent here with your theory, the factions of the broken TVA are using some multiverses heroes to pit against the other's multiverse heroes or superpowered beings.
Here's the idea, the characters are threatened with the fear of an Incursion that may destroy each respective universe unless they come out on top, hence Secret Wars.
But pulling the strings are not just Kang but also the splintered TVA agents that wants to eliminate Kang for good. Permanent, no more threat of Kang variants or any in the current or future spawned multiverses. Hence they are actually recruiting these super characters to fight their battle for them. So that they can eliminate the other TVA and also the timelines or multiverse that harbors or will spawn any future Kangs. This could tie into Avengers Vs X-Men because each are threatened with X-Tinction via Incursion so they are forced to battle it out to save their own universes.
That's just a theory in progress.
What I think is, even with free will, which means no pruning or eliminating entire universes, to keep Incursions from happening, is to gatekeep universe hopping elements. Control elements that enables universe hopping or even time travel. Because really time travel can just cause and create new branches which means it'll keep growing ad infinitum.

I like were your head is at on the possible villain of this new Deadpool/Wolverine movie.
Something in the trailer bothers me. When Wade is pulled through the door behind him, it looks like the Minuteman tries to stop him by grabbing his hair. In the next scene, when minutemen go through that door, their pruning sticks are on, making it look like they go in pursuit.
Omg I thought I was the only one who noticed this. It was as if he got pulled through the door by someone else and the tva agent tried to grab him and pull him back and grabbed his wig instead. Wild.

It seems to me Secret wars is Marvel's best move. It will give them a chance to recast the old guard by using the multiverese versions of Iron man,Capt. America, etc. to keep the names going with new acters.

THEORY TIME THEORY time theory time, you may want to apply an extra layer of tinfoil before continuing. One thing we know about Deadpool, he loves foreshadowing. "Behind a huge steaming pile of foreshadowing". Something about how Paradox is framed in one shot caught my eye. Movies often use framing and editing to foreshadow plot points. The shot in question is Wade meeting Paradox for what I'm assuming is the first time. Paradox is sitting across from Wade but the back of Wade's head is just out of frame so we just see his jacket. What's so special about this shot? THE JACKET! A green hoodie, GREEN HOOD! We all know what that means, Paradox is really Victor Von Doom. Or atleast a Doom variant that got pruned, made it back to the TVA, and is leading one of these warring TVA factions. Deadpool will end with Doom seizing control of the tree from Loki.
Imagine if when wolverine finally dons the mask and deadpool just goes "...........im kinda disappointed actually, you look ridiculous." And then he starts laughing 😂 ill lose my shit! That would be too funny

I think it gets missed in the trailer....but DP looks to me like he is saved from the TVA by either other TVA agents or 'someone' who can use TVA tech in that scene where he is pulled backwards through the time door.
Wish I could watch this, but being this is the one and only Marvel movie worth watching this year, I don't think I want to spoil it. Wish you would do a no spoiler

What if Paradox is Pruning Branches That Lead to Kang Variants and X-Men/F4/Deadpool are collateral since Alot of those characters have connections to Kang and that's why we haven't seen them in the MCU yet and that's why he recruits/tricks him he does a couple missions and then ends up trying to save quicksilver in Age of Ultron leading to a conflict with The TVA and manages to prune a couple agents before he gets pruned himself leading him to end up in the void where he runs into Logan and that's where Cassandra comes into conflict leading pruned mutants
Biggest movie problem is how did the first gun mag land in the gun through the back

How great would it be if he was either nightmare or Mephistopheles. Since dreams are other multiverses lives then a being in charge of nightmares would need to be in some part associated with the TVA to record or control the dreamer into those multiverses.
