Welcome to the Heavy Spoilers show, I'm your host Paul and this video we're breaking down House Of The Dragon.

Now we begin with Daemon walking through the throne room of the red keep which at this point is completely vacant. I believe because of this that this is in fact a dream. I don't have a source and that bit of trivia came to me in a dream but there's a lot to signify this. Firstly Daemon wouldn't be allowed to just stroll about and secondly the trailer seems like it's packed with this imagery. We have Alicent walking through a meadow which may indicate there's more here at play. Dreams are something that have guided a lot of characters with Aegons being song of ice and fire. This was then inscribed in Viserys blade and thus I think the other characters are now getting them.
I feel like that this might also be why we see the three dragon eggs which look a lot like Dany's. It is possible theyre just regular dragon eggs but they do seem grouped together like the three. I think that we might get the seeds sewn here for whats to come though dragon eggs play into things a lot later on.

It seems that Rhaenyra’s knowledge of the Cat’s Paw Dagger could serve as evidence that she is the rightful heir. We know the dagger is passed from ruler to successor, so its secret being brought forth by fire should be something Aegon should know if he was indeed the true heir. Hopefully, we get to see it play a larger role & Rhaenyra make her case. I think it’d be interesting to learn that others found out the truth but were already entrenched on their side.

I heard there will be some significant flashbacks in this season and that the girl you think is Alys (really don’t think it is as her hair is not the right color) is actually a young Aemma in said flashbacks.
Also, a lot of people believe that the hand around that woman’s neck is either Daemon’s or Viserys’ (they both have that ring) in a flashback and the woman who’s neck that is is young Aemma’s.

I’ve been giving this adaptation so many chances, but I draw the line at excluding Nettles. The show has made so many unnecessary changes, but they know the fans want her and if they’re ignoring that for their own bullshit, why am I even watching. I will not be back for season three.

Nettles is pretty important. I really don't think the first season was great. With Paddy gone and now rushed the first season was I don't care as much this time around.
