@@HomeHalfway I love this band more than I love most other things in life but his vocals are 95% of the time absolutely awful. It's not about the tone of his voice, he is just off key in most cases and it sounds terrible (check the outro of the unforgiven or the bridge part of too far gone)

I went to the first show. I think metallica set an attendance record for the St. Louis dome. I was blown away by the band and also the sheer amount of people there

@@krissanders987The most common review I see for this album is '90s Metallica mixed with either '70s NWOBHM, or Kill 'Em All. If Darkness Had A Son to me feels like a Reload song if Reload were more technical and ambitious.
This album has so many elements of Black Load and Reload that it couldve been released after Black album and nobody wouldve batted an eyelid. Not a bad thing, it has better direction and focus than Hardwired, definitely a better put together album.
This is seriously up there with my favorite metallica songs. So simple and so heavy. Love it!
You should listen to their song off the Black Album called "Sad but Tue." It's eerily similar. 🤔

You're kidding right? The main riff is almost exactly the same. They did the same thing on Sleepwalk my Life Away. The main riff is almost identical to Enter Sandman from the Black Album. I like Metallica but this album is just a copy of the Black Album. I'm not the only one to think this.
@@dv8322 Buddy the riff is nowhere close to Sad But True besides the choke on the E power chord. Besides that it literally follows a completely different pattern
Also sad but true doesn't have an absolutely awesome harmony section with bass slides

Inamorata as a closure for the concert is gonna be so nice.

and chasing light i think chasing light would be a good contender with the crowd singing along to the chorus but we'll see whenever they play chasing light live which hopefully they do along with the other 3 you listed

Lol I will admit that I was one of those old heads with my arms crossed but I was waiting for blackened and they did NOT disappoint at it. This is a cool track though, I wished I gave it more of a listen. I wanted to also hear if darkness had a son which was great. Wished they played room of mirrors.
