#Metallica #HarvesterOfSorrow #M72STL - Hudba
Absolute monster of a song. Such a crowd energising driving rhythm.
It’s better to play it then to hear it
Hi friend I like this harvester of sorrow
It was cool
😂😂😂😂
It’s currently one of my very favorites. So happy to have heard it in Detroit!
The fact that Metallica is still playing this great after 40 years is incredible.
Robert is 59. lars turns 60 next month. James is 60. and Kirk turns 61 in a few days.
just incredible. really hyped for the future of Metallica 🤟🤟🤟🤟
This is not 40 years old, pal.
@@jurgencuypers8350 "after" 40 years, not that they're 40 years old.
@@jurgencuypers8350 they're playing for 40+ years
I think Lars said in a recent interview that mentally they feel like they could keep going another 20 years, it's just a matter of how long they can physically keep doing this. But yeah, the fact that they aren't just still playing at 60 but that they're at the top of their game is amazing.
@@pdegan2814 well said. You'll have to listen to your body and what you can. And can't handle. Maybe in 10 years they could be playing much worse. Or maybe even better 👌👌👌
It's incredible that James voice is getting only better over years, especially in that song. Dude is 60 and sings so clean...
He honestly sounds better now than he did in the 2000s. Has some of that rasp back
@@NooDLES411911 yeah he sounded evil ! lol , to bad kick fucked up the solo.
@NooDLES411911 Agreed. His balance of singing/rasp is better now than it was in the 2000's, definitely meatier.
Absolutely agreed.
And he is istill n developing .😂❤😅
@@DFWTF
Kick? Lol
I was there! My 16 year old son wanted to hear Creeping Death, I wanted to hear this, and they opened with those back to back. Such a great time.
when they kicked it off with creeping death i went fucking insane because i wanted to see them play creeping death and harvester, and guess what they kicked off with...
Same with me and my dad
The entire set was honestly amazing that night
Isn't an absolute thrill when you get to hear what you hope to?
Their catalogue is massive at this point. I got to hear Damage Inc in Copenhell a couple of years ago and it is my absolute favorite. Life is complete.
This was my first Metallica concert and it was so sick
same brother
Same
Me too!
Hell yeah! I was there too it was my 7th and 8th show! The setlist was fucking badass
you were thare
I was at this concert, I went absolutely nuts when I heard this intro My favourite metallica song ever! Love you guys
How is this your favorite explain pls
@@mikeortiz9664 I find it to be really catchy at times
I feel you mate. It's one of their best live songs in my opinion. I saw them in Hamburg and when they played Harvester I lost it. Fucking heavy monster of a song🤘
@@mikeortiz9664 Explain why he owes you any explanation pls
I was here with you man! It was great 🤘
Best band in the World 🤘🤘🤘
1990
They’re alright ig
I have seen hundreds of bands and I have to say this is very true
It's more like the greatest band of all time! 🤘
Definitely no....but love Metallica that's for sure special Black Album....
That riff at 4:10 has always been one of my personal favourites - so heavy.
An inexhaustible source of inspiration. Metallica as a conductor of absolute happiness and power, rage and kindness at the same time!
Slayer
This song is just so freaking good live.
It's got such a good rhythm you can get into
Yes it needs power crunchy drums
2:32. the echo off of James’ evil laugh, gives the song such an evil and heavy feel. I’m fortunate to have seen them twice already! Ready to rock out a third time in July!🤟🏼
they opened with creeping death and followed up with this. incredible! seen metallica a few times since the 90s and this was probably the best
Yup then holier than thou I was pumped out of my mind. 40 years old and this was my first Metallica show. They didn't disappoint.
I WAS AT THIS CONCERT HERE IN ST LOUIS!!!
Lars, keep on going, your live performance was very good. We love you!
I WAS HEAR TO LISTEN TO IT!!!!! So freaking lucky my dad took me to this.. Metallica will forever be the best band ever!! 🤘🤘🎸
Yeah both shows in st louis we're AMAZING!!!
I went both days and they rocked!!
@@stingray1493 they certainly did!!!
Lars is in great shape! Drumming in this fascination for 40 plus years takes its toll on your knees and shoulders. Lars is a machine! Lots of drummers from that era have broken down.
If you think Lars is good you should check out Charlie Benante, Dave Lombardo and Thomas Haake
@@David-cu1xyaverage lars hater
@@David-cu1xy all of them have stated that Lars has been an important inspiration for them and for music in general.
@@thelilpeanutdotgovI don’t feel he was hating on Lars so much as pointing out that there’s other great drummers of that era out there.
@@David-cu1xy Good drummers. Have they played the number of shows Lars has in 40 years? Have they played 3 hour sets for 40 years?
I was there. It was amazing! Fucking Metallica !!! ❤
The shows in St Louis were AMAZING! Off the charts energy! Best weekend I had in a LONG time!!
It's so sick they aren't just doing this Justice... they're nailing it well and truly. True legends 🤘🤘
I see what you did there 😂
James doing the sinister “ infanticide “ in the growl vocal is borderline death metal 🔥💪🏼😂
These men still killing it to this day, that is dedication! Long live Metallica 🤘
I was there, it was my first Metallica show, and it was excellent.
This was already one of my favorite songs off ...And Justice For All, but I was not prepared to actually like this song even more live than the studio version
You should listen to them playing it live back in the 80s it’s super good!
I CAN FINALLY SAY I WAS THERE🙏
I was at this concert with my brother. We loved every minute of it and this is my favorite song from my favorite album. PANTERA was amazing as well.
took us so long to find parking that we missed all but cowboys from hell 😭
Yeah, Pantera was so good I forgot I was at a Metallica show tbh lol. Kind of bummed they teased Cemetary Gates and didn't play it.
@@Phantom-kc9ly guess I'll have to see them play again, in minneapolis next year
Metallica 4 Life! 🤟😎
Myself, my husband and our son were there in the Snakepit. Aaahhh! Hubby won an upgrade on our tickets, it was amazing! It was our son's first Metallica concert outside of utero. 🤟🖤🤟🖤🤟🖤 we had been looking forward to this moment and saving for it for so long!
i love Kirks stage presence!!
Soo Metal 🖤🤘 love this era of Metallica: dark, sadistic- pure metal vibes, rising up through the undergrounds!
That riff is just so heavy and menacing and is up there with Sad But True.
And how clear and powerful are James vocals
I bawled, giggled, was in awe like a 5YR old seeing the finished Christmas tree. Or like 2 10yr old kids (my nephew and I) for Christmas morning waiting to see what gifts we got. For us, each song LIVE was a gift to us! It was the gift of our life times. If I could've stood on someone's shoulders, feet to shoulders I would've been the tallest fan making sure I was seen!
Beautiful Memory 🤘
@@kurtisdweatherly1789Literally, the first time I felt true peace in my heart! With the guys', the Metallica family, the greatest moment of my life next to my sons birth! 🫳🎤
Not that you care but there is also another way of true peace and that is found thru Jesus Christ 😊❤ but that’s all I’ll say !!! Glad you had fun at a Metallica concert ima see them for 2nd time in 2025 hopefully in Dallas again 😂 or hopefully they’ll play Austin this time 😂 or maybe Houston …. Or maybe even El Paso
@@mikeortiz9664 I'm saving up for the Final show one day! Funds are tight since inflation is so damn high. That one day tho, I plan on making sure my little Goober is there.
I appreciate the mention of Jesus, I'm more spiritual but see the nuggets of truth in religions. definitely not someone who thinks every aspects of religion is evil. My childhood I had Christianity ramrodded down my throat as a kid. I hope I don't seem like a dick if my belief is different. I'm autistic but still believe in the good that can come from faith.
@@mikeortiz9664 no doubt..There's also Budda,Allah, Hindi, and Satan to consider. 🤔😉🌠🌠🌠🤗
I ❤ METALLICA!!
Awesome show! I'm so glad I was able to take my son. This is his favorite album.
I was in St. Louis with my son. Great show!
Группа Metallica лучшие монстры рока! 👍💪🤘🤟🤟✌
I'm addicted to this song and to this band.
I love Metallica❤🤟
Здравствуйте.😁
This is one of their best songs they perform live
Disagree. Search Harvester of Sorrow Live in Moscow. Watch Lars. See the volume of people
Worth the price of admission!!!!
Metallica still alive ! Best band ever!! Come to Australia we waiting for too long…
Thank you guys, you are the last big band standing, no one is out there! Love you guys and it hurts my heart to say last.
YEAH! LONG LIVE THE METALLICA 🎸🎸🤘🤘
Великолепно,вживую и слышны слова. Молодец!!!
Love Metallica 😊 ❤️🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
I heard this song live when I was 17 years old on June, 24th, 1988 at the Orange Bowl (Monsters of Rock tour) in South Florida, two months before And Justice for All came out. So many mullets, so much fun.
So fortunate to have seen this live in STL. One of my favorites from Metallica. 🤘🏻
Best band ever!
The best composition the Metallica group music😊
I always say this man James mom is looking down on him very proud of what he became and I know he made his mama proud!!! Mama Het you made a badass heavy metal guitar player and a badass heavy metal vocalist!!
Their old songs and their new songs are pretty good played live on stage so good 😊
METALLICA NEVER DISAPPOINTS 🤟🔥
😂
Очень люблю Метлу,парни огонь жгут !!!Всех сделали!!! Джейм неподражаем,ЗВЕЗДА МИРОВОГО РОКА! Счастья вам парни❤🤩🤘
36 years on and still one of the most badass songs in Metallica's repertoire with a riff that absolutely crushes.
33 yrs ago I was tapping my hands & feet at my desk to this song as it went through my head during high school English class.
His voice it is better than ever...
The energy here was just UNREAL🔥🔥🔥
Greatest band ever.
Wow incredible performance, James is a absolute badass, seems really re energized lately
That was such an awesome show. We had a blast. Thanks for rocking out with us!!🤘
This song live is pure power....
I was there!! Could not believe this was the second song they played!
same here
This is nuts, these dudes are pushing 60 but playing with the energy of men half their age. They sound downright incredible, better than they have in years even. The fact that they can still effortlessly perform this 35 year old track without breaking a sweat speaks to how amazing they are. Hats off to Metallica for still kicking ass.
This group is really THE BEST❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
My first time experiencing that pause before "All have said their prayers" live in person earlier this year was so freaking cool.
Great sound, as always METALLICA!!!!
Metallica как всегда на высоте !!! 🤟🤟🤟
That sounds wonderful. 💙✌️
i don’t of any bands that sound like they’re at their peak 40 years in… so tight and jame’s voice is fucking HEAVY
I was there and it was the greatest night of my life
Gotta be the most heavy Metallica song that opening just sends shivers down your spine
I think this is the best performance of Harvester I have ever seen, and I seen a lot! Love you guys! Thanks for being the most inspirational band ever!
I think the Moscow '91 is far far beyond !
До чего они круты, лучшие!
I like how I can actually hear kirk. More of that please.
Metallica благодарю за отличное исполнение бодрого хеви металла.
Still kickin butt 40 something years later
42 years later! They all sound and look wonderful!
Wow... fucking wow... still the flame burns! Metallica always delivering 🤘
Metallica Metallica🤟💫

I was at this show and it blew my mind! I wish I could see them again NOW!
They're still kicking maximum ass!! 🤘🤘🔥🔥
WOOOOOO MY NEPHEW AND I'S THROUGH THE NEVER NIGHT WE WAITED A DECADE FOR AND GRIND FOR. BLOOD SWEAT AND TEARS, WERE SHED TO GET THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!
One of my favorites. Brilliant
I was the loudest one in the crowd
No I was.
No I was.
I agree I was the whole crowd
We all were.
"Anger, misery, you'll suffer unto me" 🤘
Harvester Of Sorrow
Language of the mad!
@@michaelf.bender3718 Harvester Of Sorrow!
Love how at 5:42 James gives the sign to play the riff 1 more time
Made sure when I walked in I wasn't gonna leave with a damn voice. Fuck my voice! 😂😂😂😂 I chanted with every chant, literally screamed harder than I ever have in my life! I literally felt at home 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 I love you guys for carrying me threw my childhood!
