BIO - Ricardo Correia:
Ricardo is the global head of Digital Currencies at R3 with a focus on CBDCs and stablecoins. He and his team run a CBDC working group and Sandbox with over 100 members, including major central banks around the world. He initially served as Head of APAC and then spent 3 years as global head of Strategic Alliances & Partnerships, building a network of 300+ partners who develop solutions and offer services on Corda. Prior to joining R3 Ricardo worked with the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Accenture and Avanade in senior technology leadership positions. He’s co-founded 2 high-tech startups and has spent the last 15 years commercializing early-stage, emerging technologies.
