    BIO: Nicolas Stuckens, Head of ISO 20022 Adoption and Data Quality, Swift
    Nicolas Stuckens is leading the ISO 20022 adoption and data quality programme at Swift, a newly created role to drive ISO 20022 community adoption, quality usage of ISO messaging, and related Swift services.
    Nicolas has a strong background in payments and financial crime compliance, having led the development of screening initiatives at Swift for nearly 15 years. His focus on compliance led him to explore how sanctions compliance-related friction can be reduced to support the move to instant payments.
    In 2021 he published “Guiding principles for screening ISO 20022 payments” in collaboration with leading industry banks, providing insights for financial institutions to leverage the new syntax for efficient and effective screening - a paper that was subsequently endorsed by the Payment Market Practice Group and The Wolfsberg Group.
    Nicolas joined Swift in 1997 and held several positions in the area of reference data, pricing, and information services. He holds a degree of Commercial Engineer from the Université Catholique de Louvain in Belgium.

    BIO: Damien Godderis, Head of Payments Industry Engagement, BNP Paribas
    Damien is a seasoned payment expert, having spent over 16 years in the domain working as a consultant and product manager in several international banks and Swift.
    Damien is now working as Head of Payments Industry Engagement, representing BNP Paribas in different working groups (local and international) and working on behalf of BNP Paribas group to design and shape the future of payments in order to reach the instant and frictionless experience.
    Damien holds an MSc in Economics and is a regular speaker at corporate and industrial conferences.

    BIO: Ciarán Byrne, Head of Global Clearing Product & Transformation, J.P. Morgan
    Ciarán Byrne is the Head of Global Clearing Product and Transformation within J.P. Morgan Payments. In this role Ciarán is responsible for the Banks USD, EUR, GBP, CLS, and CHSS business lines, as well as the execution of key strategic initiatives that evolve the Global Clearing product offering, future proof the business, and lay the foundation for long-term growth.
    Ciarán holds overall responsibility for the Global Implementation of ISO 20022, and the company’s engagement with key Industry Groups. Through these programs he manages a large group of global stakeholders across all areas of the Bank to drive towards this goal.
    Ciarán has over 16 years of experience in the industry, managing complex products and programs across multiple regions and functions - having previously led Product, Sales, Strategy, Market Management, and Operations teams within the broader Payments industry.
    Ciarán has an Executive MBA from the Dublin Institute of Technology, a BA in Finance & Accounting from the National College of Ireland, and currently resides in New Jersey.
