Anyone who has played this game at any level, knows fine well that Lineker dove for the 2nd, and I'd wager the first also. The evidence for the 2nd is there for all to see. He drags his feet after taking an awful touch hits the floor.
Gary lying through his teeth here. Watch the angle from behind the goal.

You take your luck where you find it. David Platt scored the winner against Germany in the semi. Disallowed for offside. He wasn't. Spain scored in '96 too it wasn't offside. Lampard goal in '10 clearly over the line. You take your luck and bad luck the same.

Both genuine penalties, anyone who says different is either clueless about football or from Cameroon

minimal contact and act like being shot, typical divers and cheaters in football.

He was clearly fouled on both occasions, comical that people keep insisting he dived.

I do think this game was scripted for England to win. I mean, where do you give 9 minutes extra in the first 15 minutes of extra time? Penalties weren't given liberally then as they appear to do now. In any case, I love Gary and have always commended his penalty taking philosophy

If VAR was present, the game would had ended 2-1.

For me the game ends after Ekeke’s goal for the 2-1 “victory” for Cameroon.😀

How on Earth was it fixed? Cameroon conceded both penalties to England when their defenders took Lineker's feet from out underneath him - and NOT the ball - on both occasions when Cameroon were leading 2-1 at the time.
If a defender catches the feet of the attacking opponent INSTEAD of the ball in the penalty area in the direct view of the referee, it IS a definite penalty. There is NO excuse. Clear-cut penalty. The referee was CORRECT on both decisions.
England won the game 3-2, fair and square. Winners win. Losers lose. That's football. 👍😁

@@bubu0503 - I am simply telling you how the game happened. I am NOT interested in getting into a petty and childish online argument with you about this or about anything else related to the game. If you want to argue about the result, take it up with somebody else. Nothing that any of us says or does is ever going to change the result. It's history. Move on. Good day to you. 👍😁
