I followed your videos and started with a Discover It secured card 7 months ago. I had no credit score. Now its 7 months later my Discover just graduated today to $1800 from the $200 initial deposit and I now have a 690 credit score. I qualified for a Capital One Savor One after about 4 months of having the Discover. Just wanted to say keep up the good work and educating the masses. I think I'm going to go for a few business cards next.

As someone who also had the Discover Secured card and also graduated the card I agree 💯! Trying the pre approval before applying for the secured or unsecured card is a good option. Great information and video! 👍

What possible cards would you reccomend for somebody who got the Discover secured card as there first card, then you just graduate and are looking for a second credit card?

So I only have a chime account, may be a dumb question but I looking into my first credit card, I’ve watched several different videos from several different people and read into it myself, and I think this is the one I want to go with, you said we need a bank account with routing number but would a chime account be considered a bank account? It does have a account and routing number

Chime works as a real bank. I just got my Discover secured and yes you can use Chime to make the deposit and payments

Will graduating from secured to unsecured card lower her score?
Credit scores getting lowered can be from numerous things. So it all depends on what's going on with the rest of her credit report. My score didn't drop, nor did majority of the people I've helped all over the years. It's all case by case depending on your credit report. Thanks for watching, Melvin.
