    quick question man, for a $200 credit line for credit utilization spending does it have to be exactly $20? Or is a bit over okay? For example $21 or $22

    I have a secured credit card by capital one. I have a 200 limit i spent 49.14 of the 200 my current balance is 11.11 but i still have two pending one for 24.51 and another for 13.52. So i should pay the whole 49.14 by my due date? My due date is 3-21-22 statement date is 3-27-22. This would be my first due date

    Does the year start when you activate the card or the date the approve you ?

      Normally it's the date they assign once you're approved. For me, it started before I got my card.

      It varies. I've had some people graduate in 8 months, some a year, and some longer than a year. Mine was around the 11 month mark, but that was years ago.

      No. Your utilization is the percentage of your credit limit that you spend. Whether it's one big purchase or multiple small ones, it adds towards utilization.

      @@5ive295 That's if you want your utilization at 10%. It's your choice. Just know, a lower (between 1%-10%) utilization often gets best results.
