TESTING INFORMATION: When taking these PAR readings into account in this video, please divide the PAR value by 54.7% to show a PAR value more consistent to a standard greenhouse light meter used in horticulture. Since this video, we have adjusted our testing to show PAR value that are more consistent in regards to the testing equipment our customers have access to, though our meter is far more accurate by recognizing each nano-meter our wavelength independently.

Both CMH lamps are considered "daylight" under Philips classification-- (3K Elite Agro vs. 4K) The 4000 Kelvin is the "fuller spectrum" between both Philips MasterColour CDM Lamps----and because of this the CRI is 99K lamps versus 84CRI for the 3000 Kelvin. Amazing things start to happen as we reach 100 CRI. Not all 'white light' is created equally. Their micromole difference is due to the 4000 K radiates more outside of the PAR range. They are essentially the same radio-metrically just different photo-metrically. Great Video!

I was watching your video optic Floral, I think having switch in Your Arsenal would be an awesome thing but I don't live in your state so I can't stop by and get a sample .....it sucks but I guess I'll have to just order it. I know where I'm at I can get the overgrow so I'm going to try that to start off withDoug

See their horizontal you only get 180 degrees of light plus reflection. Where as vertical you get 360 degrees of light. Full spectrum always better it allows use of both chlorophyll found in plants one responds to red light (sun) one to blue (sky). Both need to be used to get optimal grow conditions. Vertical light no hood can get closer to plants. Buying hoods is waste of money. A socket and bulb vertically produce less heat and it don't hold the heat. The plasma is a better bulb. The new plasma set ups are so much better than the out dated junk they sell. A micro plasma bulb and socket with cord from the rf ballast is the way to go. They use less electric and lower temperatures. Facts are facts. Nobody wants to pay for shit they don't need. Why the horizontal hoods? Seems like they are rip off. Even with good reflector it don't put out the light a vertical does. You just got a square in the middle of a round area. Truth vertical lights cover more area and have better heat dissipation and use less electricity do to better use of light coming from a spherical direction around the arc of the bulb.
