The force field may be his “bio-electric aura”, as i under stand it its what lets superman do some of the more impossible things like carry an airplane from any point without it breaking apart

Really like this take on STEEL/John Henry Irons. I like how he has more of a weightlifter body where you can tell he is strong but doesn't need to look like a world-class bodybuilder physique, plus I kinda like the prototype STEEL suit looking more clunky and more blocky, which juxtaposes the angular and more alien design of the Kryptonian tech we've seen so far, and hopefully in the long term of the show we can see him in a more faithful design from the comics with the cape, helmet etc... I do like that Vicky respects Lois's determination and undying passion to get the scope, but surely Lois wouldn't actually consider the job offer? I also really like how this show is handling Lex Luthor, slowly building up his presence as we see him establish LexCorp, take away the STEEL (perhaps repurpose it as Lex's green and purple Power Armour from the comics) and now with Waller's help he has possession of the Metallo robots. However, I will say that personally, Im not a fan of them making Metallo into a line of generic military robots since I prefer when the character is written to be human but suffers a tragic fate that has him turned into a cyborg and holds a hatred for Superman powered by the one thing that can hurt him. I dunno, I feel like there's more story potential to write the character as a more sympathetic villain, but whatever, the show went in a different direction, and it's not like I can change that.

On Lois and Vicky.
That meeting at AmerTech's press conference was chance. But as a prominent news event it would make sense for them both to be there.
But the season 1 meeting of the two?
After episode 3 where Lois got the Intergang scoop by stealing her co-workers ID cards....she should have been fired. But Perry didn't, because while it was a gutsy move that paid off, it was on the wrong side of Ethical. Perry knew if he fired Lous, she'd find another mews outlet to work for, one that might excuse or encourage that kind of behavior.
He knew someone like that. He knew how Lois would turn out if she stayed on the path.
He didn't need a guest article from Vicky Vale, he called her in and set Lois up with her as an object lesson: she is what happens when you prioritize getting a story over your integrity, journalistic or personal.
Perry is way more aware of our trio than he lets on.
