For your Maltese doggie, try Probiotics for them. They do make them for dogs and cats specifically, I got mine on Amazon, I had to do that for a cat that had a lot of allergies, and had a skin issue because he wasn't digesting his nutrients out of his food. It just might be they have to have something else digesting their food to be able to reuptake their nutrition in the gut, which works the same for people too. As well, try grain free for a bit and see how they do. Good luck with your mom's doggie!
Yes, I was just about to suggest probiotics! It's great for dog's (and really, human's) gut health and overall health, as well. In addition, I would suggest adding real meat to her diet along with kibble and broth for moisture and hydration, and feeding her 3 times/day (instead of twice/day). She is so adorable, and my heart hurts to hear to story! I'm so glad your mom saved her and is now loving on her!
Purina has really good probiotics for cats and dogs!

You guys talking about your grandparents made me sosososo sad. I just got back home in Vegas from the Philippines to visit my grandparents and family after not seeing them for 11 years. Coming back there as an adult now was such a huge huge eye opener bc my family there isn’t the most fortunate with money, but they still live such great and happy lives there with what they already have. And my grandparents were the happiest ever to finally see us again. Leaving was definitely the hardest part, but I will try my best to start going there every year or two and not wait so long like I did.

What if ur mom made a liquid food filled with nutrients? Kind of like the Chinese/Korean herbal "drinks"? I say drinks but they're more like medicines... Not sure how she would make it or get it tho... I remember my parents would get me packages of dry herbs from the herbal medicine doctor when I was sick and couldn't eat and i wasn't getting the proper nutrients... My mom would then "boil" it and have me drink the water after straining the herbs... Hope they have something like this for dogs.. 😭
Hey Weylie, my fam and I got a dog from the pet store (we didn’t know better!! We’re much more educated now and know how awful that is, never again!) and when you described your mom’s dog, it reminds me of mine. My pup is a toy poodle and she’s 6 now but she jumps at loud noises, eats her poop, cries whenever we leave and don’t really like to play. All these symptoms were since she was a baby... help! We’ve tried training, given her vitamins etc.. I want her to live a happy life and it breaks my heart that we don’t know what to do.

I have a Maltese too, so when you said that Yuki (sorry if I am misspelling her name) barks a lot, I was relieved to know that it was not just my dog. I guess smaller dogs just tend to love louder. 😅

Man I miss scones. When I lived in the south we had them all the time and you could find them anywhere. Now I live in WI and I can’t find them anywhere. There really isn’t any food variety here at all. I eat the same foods over and over agin unless it’s homemade. Even finding some food items at the stores is hard. I need to learn how to make all these really yummy meals!

hey wah & weylie ! your pets are always so well trained & i was wondering if you could share how you did it. my little sister recently got a puppy that my dad got her & my mom has to watch the dog now since her dad travels so much. the dog isn’t potty trained & my mom is having a hard time training her, so i was hoping you could give some advice. wonderful video as always !!
The dog that has the digestive issues will benefit from a good multistrain probiotic supplement. The dog has like an ibs condition. A human one will be fine 10 billion or more Udos choice is a good one. A bio live plain yogurt also is good for gut issues

Weylie I think eating raw food might help her. It’s easier to digest. My dog is hungry 9 hrs after her breakfast and when she ate kibbles that was 12 hrs. And she has a tiny amount of poopoo now, i think that means she absorbed most of her food.
