    Awesome video, Matt fitted the rack for me but now I know how to do some adjustments and those clip in hooks are great!

      He is such a legend. I meant to mention he does installs if you are in the Brisbane region. I'm actually quite impressed by how the struts work, I thought it would be a fair bit stiffer to pull down to be honest.

    terrific video mate. I have the same rack and your instructions for fitting is awesome. The quick lashes though can take a jump. Postage costs are stupidly high for the size and weight. I guess you have to promote them if they send you the freebees.

    hey there, thank you for the overview. I was wondering if you could still lift up the rack if you were to have the dune gear box lashed to it. Do you think it would hit the sail plane?

    Great video and exactly what i wanted. Great job. At the end of the video you mentioned rooftop tent - would this rack support a rooftop tent and are all the necessary supports included or able to be purchased ?

      It should be able to take the load of an RTT with no dramas at all. Obviously you probably wouldn't have the clearance to open, however depending on the tent the struts might actually be able to lift and support that load noting most are between 70 and 80kg. I tend to remove ours when we are not using it, which is a pain but it's part of how we use the Ranger, plus also the whole sequence with videos and projects. If you were mounting more permanently, perhaps a higher fixed rack, like what Matt also offers might work a bit better.

    Great video and product , I have previously fitted the tripple m rack to my wildtrak and I am looking to fit a RTT to it. I was looking at the san hima Jarvis pro as an option. Have you put the san hima on the tripple m rack , if so how did it go .

      I did plan to mount the San Hima on the rack to demonstrate however didn't have time with the rain closing back in. I plan to sit it on rubber strips so as to not rub and mark up the top of the platform too much. We have a boys weekend coming up, so I will mount it up and see how it goes shortly. At the moment the tent is stuck under the camper trailer project I am currently in the process of dismantling.

    Hey mate does your fridge power plug sit at the back or the front of the car considering your doors open on the left? I have an oztrail and power is at the back of fridge but my doors open on opposite to yours. Not sure if you have any tricks so I can have my doors open on the left hand side and the power cable doesn’t get in the way.

      Hey Luke, sorry I didn't see this earlier however let me know how you go turning around the larger fridge to work like how we have. It certainly is a lot easier reaching in from the outside rather than the middle of the tub.

    I noticed you have moved your fridge slide back from the original location, may I ask what the reason for that was?

    • @WorkLivePlay
      @WorkLivePlay  Před 3 měsíci

      Hey Jason, it's still in the original location. Perhaps it was just the angle? I love how the fridge has been working, we have used it on a fair few trips and it's great being able to easily access it there. I often use it as the drinks fridge, even when we have the Journey. I have been using it as a coffee station also lately!

      @@WorkLivePlay thanks for the reply. I have set my tray exactly the same from your video with the same fridge and slide. Has been working well.

      @@jasonjarrett4923 awesome. It's nice and basic but works. I quite often take the fridge out and use the infill as well, we very rarely take the whole floor section out but it's great having the option to without having to unbolt things.

    What brand is the generic rack? Would like to know what accessory brackets I can get with it.

      Generally most have the same tracks and fittings all work between various brands which is good. The Platform I ordered prior to this which is exactly the same came from 4x4 Force on Ebay. Its listed as a '135x125cm Aluminium Alloy Roof Rack Flat Platform for Universal Dual Cab' - they have a listing at the bottom for their universal eye bolt kits and some other accessories. Matt can confirm and also supplies a number of different accessories for these new rack systems he provides however.
