Much appreciated! Let's see if a European A33 from 2001 is just a simple. Looks to me that the engine bay is identical.

Appreciate your vid. I'm always hesitant to do repairs like this as I always seem to run into that one stubborn (insert part of your choice here) that just won't come out/off. Thanks for the suggestion of the use of the breaker bar. Never used one before. Did want to ask what the torque specs are for those bolts if you happen to know. I'm sure they're around somewhere but figured I'd ask. Need to do this for my son's car asap. Cheers!

Thanks for your comment and support. I don't really do torque wrench unless it's building a motor. Most things I just hand tighten to my desire sorry I can't be more help. Other than that I hope everything went awesome. Thanks again I really appreciate your support. If you haven't already please subscribe, share and like this video. Thanks in advance Redcell6A

@@ContagusCars looking through more vids I need to test a few things like voltage going to the starter, is the alternator providing enough voltage back to the battery and is the battery sus. We took the battery to get trickle charged so I’ll be running those tests tonight with the multi-meter. My reasoning is the sound the car is making when turning the key (rapid clicking). Doesn’t take away from your content which will be helpful should it be the starter.

Do me a favor and get a hammer and tap the starter. Sometimes the bendix in the start gets stuck. You might be able to loosen it up. Try that and let me know please

@@ContagusCars turns out it was a lose connection on the negative terminal. The nut was as tight as it could get and it still came off simply by pulling up. I just happened to have some of those lead terminal caps. Put one on, retightened (didn’t come off by pulling this time) and the car started right up. Really appreciate your engagement here going back and forth like this to help. You got yourself a subscriber. Thank you!
