- My SECRET to answering residency interview questions for the residency match!
Understand WHY they are asking you a certain question, rather than focusing entirely on WHAT they are asking when it comes to those tricky "Tell me about a time when..."
Don't forget to check out the other video talking about residency interviews and what you should be doing for your interview prep

great!! I am about to go on my first PM&R interview in 2 weeks from now. much needed.
Very nice information you provided. Thanks again
Background sound and loudness spoiled this great video. Wish you could edit and remove the music
I’ll need to bookmark this for next year :)
👍
Hi! Can you please do a video about camera and lighting set up for virtual interviews. I really likw your background and lighting conditions.
Thankss
About to go on my first PM&R interview. This video is just what I need. Thanks!
Best of luck !!
Great video and very helpful information. Thank you so much!
It would be perfect if you could remove the background music or turn it down. The music is distracting.
Brief but very informative
Great info, thank you! Can you please turn the background music down? It drowns out your voice.
This was helpful !
THANKS, VERY INFORMATIVE INDEED
Actually I like the music, it makes me pay more attention to every single word
What is up with the carnival music in the start!?
Do u provide interview prep??
Helpful
Great, now I'm nervous. And I'm just a first year medical student.
Anas Al-ameen Don’t be, you will pass it greatly.
You know what, by the time you get to this stage, you will have thought about all of these things a LOT. You also need to do rotations first before you can really answer most of these questions because then you get an idea of what kind of a resident they are looking for :) There's a lot more to worry about before you get here so don't stress yourself out about this too soon! It's great that you're thinking about it early though. My advice to you would be that anytime you encounter something relevant to these questions on rotation, to write it down in a note so that by the time you do interviews, you'll have a lot of examples to talk about
The background music is a bit too loud. I tried my best to listed to what you were saying, but that finger snapping part of the music gave me a decent amount of anxiety.
This video is almost 3 years old and from when I first started making videos lol
@@BrianSuttererMD Are you laughing at me or the comment? I felt that you had good information to give, but the music was a distracting addition.
The comment.
It just strikes me odd when people comment with critiques from videos on creators channels that are really old, like I just uploaded it today and did bad on the music.
@@BrianSuttererMD I saw potentially great content (and was correct) and paid no attention to how long ago it had been posted.
Hi! I am from Philippines, and I am interested to pursue PM&R residency training. Can you suggest a book that I read in advance? I have Braddom's Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, and DeLisa's Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Principles and Practice. Hoping to hear from you. Thank you!
I can recommend you Cucarilo
