- Somehow we have reached 500,000 subscribers... Which I thought was going to be one of the most overwhelming, proudest milestones of my life. However, then my Discord server told me they have been building a special world in Minecraft to honor me and my goodness... I have never felt so privileged to be part of such a talented community. Some of the builds in this literally boggle the mind! This video deserves to be seen, so please show the guys and girls that helped create this incredible Engitopia some love by booshing that like button and leaving a comment.
I hope you'll agree that this was absolutely incredible and worthy of this milestone video, but I did also just want to say a massive thank you to you, the person reading this. By watching my videos you have helped me to become lucky enough that I can literally have the job of my dreams. I've always loved making people laugh, and have always been somewhat creative, but I always thought these were just traits that I would never be allowed to use in "the real world". However thanks to all of you, I now can, and I am and always will be eternally grateful to you all. I am living the dream and have never been happier, it feels like my life has purpose, and although I enjoyed engineering- I never truly felt I was making a difference. However now there are days where I read a comment saying I have cheered someone up or made them smile, and honestly, that is the greatest thing about doing this! But of course, I wouldn't be able to without you, the viewer, so thank you!

@@apex_blue But Minecraft has real-life effects. Tell him teachers use it in classrooms to help students with a variety of school subjects. Plus it can have truly amazing positive effect on people's wellbeing & intellect. It can make you happy, proud of what you've achieved in-game, help you wind down after a day working or studying, it can help you to think logically, teach you how to deal with challenges, learn how to cooperate with others. Imo it's the best game there is for all the positives it can have on people, especially young people, with no swearing, no gory violence, & it offers so many different styles of play, which make it unique among games. You decide what to do in the game, there is no right or wrong way to play.

25:40 They simply did what engineers do best, they automated the shit out of everything so they don't have to worry about gathering resources. That's what all those crazy machines you kept seeing were for - various levels of automating resource production. That way, they can skip the grind and only focus on building.

Although it is very clear not everything on this server was made in survival. People were flying around, tping, they had a double chest of maxed tridents, barriers everywhere. The list goes on, it was not all made in survival.

I'll be honest I thought he wouldn't look at anything that advanced this early on , one thing I really want to see is someone like mumbo jumbo give RCE a crash course in Redstone , since there is literally no in game tutorial .

Why? There wasn't that much that should be a mystery. And why should he care what the special blocks are when he has no context never having played to get them? He knows what a redstone contraption is. What portals are, etc, etc, etc, etc.

I'm actually surprised that RCE doesn't know about Nether, Enchanting, Cats, Dogs, Foxes, Elytras, fireworks and others, but knows what the redstone is when it can be one of most difficult things in Minecraft
He's an Engineer. That's perfectly normal.
To be fair, redstone was one of the first things I understood in Minecraft too. Redstone logic is pretty similar to computer logic, so it's a concept that stays pretty true to real life. On the other hand, there's not much in real life that you can compare with the mechanics of the nether or enchanting.

You can do it with bedrock, since bedrock was obtained in survival miecraft, but only on scicraft, meaning you can't really replicate it, but barrier blocks no. Also, philza builds nice stuff and farms, but not with barrier blocks.

I have played Minecraft before. Not a professional but experienced enough to manage. There was a lot that went into that build. I am just blown away. To say the lease that would be a feat in creative mode even!!!!!
they didnt built it in survival. there were barriers and lots of beacons, netherite BLOCKS and they teleported each other all the time. they were also flying (in creativ not with elytras)

So with the expensive lamp posts: the material it’s made of is nether brick witch can be harvested from a nether fortress or (s)melting a lot of netherack. But *most importantly* is the base it’s on. That gray block is called Netherite. It’s a material found in the nether that is very hard to get, especially a entire block, mostly because you need 4 ancient debris just to make 1 bar, then need 9 bars to create ONE BLOCK. So it’s pretty expensive. Just fillin you in mate. :D
Also you need gold, a lot of gold to make it was well

you can actually make a working lighthouse with redstone. its one of my favorite redstone builds actually since its really impressive looking for how simple it is. theres a good tutorial for it on youtube for anyone thats interested in making one. the most time consuming part of it is actually just building the light house itself
