At first I didn't want to complain too much about the game, maybe it was some student project, maybe it's all being worked by a single guy... but then I saw it's $9.99 on steam. It's hard to defend it at that price.

Yeah it may not be a good game and it may be borin to yall, but the price is hardly unusual and is priced in line with what one expects of a lower quality game such as it. Compare it to their 112 Operator game which has triple the price and much much more content.
These games go on sale quite often, such is how steam works; most game sells are generated by game sales, so you cant even rly act like the $10 price is the real price of the game and youre not calso considerin that the devs do not make $10 off this game, they make that less anythin Steam takes from them for usin the steam marketplace to make the sell.

I kno of tons of awesome free games out there that are better than most of the games on steam; but that doesnt mean all the steam games are chargin too much for their games.
$10 is a fair price pt; and judgin by the reviews of it... That isnt somethin the reviewers disagree with, they think the game is fairly priced but just too boring for them or maybe like its marketed to the wrong audience (eg a review that suggested this shud be a mobile kids game for the same price and wud sell grt; which i agree it wud)

Tbf, the dev does say the difficulty ramps up based on number of cameras purchased, so it sounds like RCE played on the two easiest possible difficulties.
