- The Boston Bruins have pulled out a MASSIVE win in game 5 against the Florida Panthers after looking like the old Bruins that we know and love. They started this game with a sense of desperation from the opening faceoff and didn't stop until the final whistle with all members of this team showing out and not wanting their season to end here. Charlie McAvoy had the best game of his playoffs in this one, doing everything he could to make sure the puck was out of the Bruins zone and into the Panthers'. Jeremy Swayman got the help he needed from the team in this one playing as good as he always has and saving a potential game-tying goal in the final seconds. The frustration from Jim Montgomery and Don Sweeney must have stuck with the Bruins into this game as they stay alive and head back to Boston for game 6.

The boys played great tonight. Who would have known when the bs shoot more they’d win. Pasta stepped it up tonight and you can tell the team was always working together and love seeing the defense play great and take some pressure off sway
That shorthanded breakaway by DeBrusk followed by a quick shot from Freddie, the B's could have won 4-1 tonight if not for Bobrovski in the Panthers net. BTW, it probably will fly under the radar, but Wothespoon played a great game tonight.

I said it before game 4, if they want to win go back to basics and get shots on net (they really need to go high on Bobrobsky more). The formula from the regular season won the game last night. That was an example of a team that didn’t panic when Florida tied the game and then stayed with the game plan. What you saw in game 4 and especially game 5 was a team that realized they can indeed win without their captain when everyone steps up and plays their position. I hope Brad is back for game 6 and that this team plays the same hockey they did last night.
When they show up and play 60 min they can beat anyone. Go B’s.

One if the 1st comments i saw after game last night was a Florida fan who was talking about how Bruins won on goal that was challenged for goalie interference and goal was upheld and he was saying "oh cant we call it even now!?" I wanted to say something to guy but held back!!? The fact guys trying to compare the goal bruins got to the one fucking Bennett got in game 4 is really kinda ridiculous!? Yea both goals were challenged for goalie interference but the HUGE DIFFERENCE is that the refs made the correct call on the Bruins goal cuz it was 100% a good goal but the goal panthers got in game 4 was absolutely bullshit and 100% shouldn't have counted so trying to compare the 2 and say they're the same thing & everything is even now is just stupid!!?? In my opinion Florida is the dirtiest/cheapest team in NHL!? They're constantly pulling shit after whistles and get away with holds snd interferences constantly!? And they like to dive/flop a lot!? Should be nicknamed the Florida Floppers!!?? Lol. just last night there was at least 2-3 times they flopped/embellished calls!!? The Lundell one that was called obviously!? And on the hooking penalty to Lohrei it looked to me like guy went down awful easy!? Looked like he felt the stick in his midsection and just fell back!? Thats y Montgomery was so animated on bench there a few times cuz he was trying to tell refs that the guys were flopping/faking shit!??
