Bimmercode is a fantastic app that allows you to code many different options into your BMW. This is a quick tutorial to show you how to enable the "Video In Motion" feature. I will publish some other videos with other options that can be programmed. Please see my first video "BIMMERCODE FOR BEGINNERS" if you are unfamiliar with the basics.

Hi, bought the Veepeak and soon getting the App. What car did you code it in please i just got a X4 64 plate.
+Theo Fennel the car in the video is a 2017 X4 M40i. I don’t know what a “64 plate” means.
Please help. I have a 2015 535i, used ONDLINK CX as the connector, and enabled video in motion but got no pop ups just coded normally. I am not able to access video in motion on my idrive screen. Can you please let me know what to do? Thanks

I coded my car video in motion but it did not come up with the second enable message? It just coded normally? Is that because of bimmercode update or have i done something wrong? Thanks
Hmm not sure. Is it working? If so that’s all that really matters I guess :)

What video files will work with the usb?
+Jewel Castelar good question. Everything I have played has worked. I assume .mp4 and .mov at least but I’m curious if anyone knows for sure.
Help Me DIY thx, so i actually just tried a movie that was .mkv and it worked so im assuming all the standard video files like .mp4 .avi .mov etc.. will all work

@@tigerc325 .mp4 didnt work on my f15 x5. I had to encode in mk4 and 1920x720 to get full screen

Ah man that sucks. I don’t, but I recently found a thread on Bimmerpost about these units. I think it’s in the F30 discussion group.

@@HelpMeDIY so I got the veepeak scanner/coding tool, and downloaded bimmer code. Activated the video in motion and coded it. It didn’t take me to the next step. And also can you stream videos from your IPHONE?
@@johntaboh Someone else said they came across the same thing. I asked them if it worked and they never replied back so I assumed it still worked for them. Let me know after you try it.
