Can box brownies be made vegan? A viral TikTok box brownie hack says you can have a vegan brownie recipe and make boxed brownies without eggs. I'm giving these eggless boxed brownies a test.
On today's video I'm trying out box brownies with 2 different egg replacements and showing you (00:00)

Unsweetened apple sauce to replace the eggs 😊
I use all of the ingredients meaning the oil and water and replace only the egg with a quarter cup of sparkling water per egg. It works amazingly, and maybe we shouldn't go 100% sparkling water.

I use a half cup of aqua faba less oil and more flour comes out like a regular brownie

The key is cutting the oil in half and then replacing the missing oil with water. 😊

This is what gives me the most consistent success. along with swapping the water in the flax egg with aquafaba. I think someone called it a "superflax egg"
Have you or anyone tried Chia Seeds? What I found said for 1 egg substitute mix 1 Tbsp Chia Seeds to 3-6 Tbsps water, let sit 10 mins. before adding to Brownie Mix.
How bout a flax egg? ( 1 tsp ground golden flax seeds mixed with 2 tablespoons water)
I think you should use less soda water like maybe 3/4 of a cup.
You have to cut the oil/fat when you use just egg to a quarter of the fat used as well as switch the just egg two two tablespoons of just egg and 1 tablespoons of water per egg called for in recipe . Honestly tho it also comes out more cake like as well
You can swap apple sauce for the eggs!

It didn't work well for me. I mean they tasted OK but the brownies didn't really bind well. The fell apart.
You don't need the egg !! Water and oil
Maybe try using soda water in place of regular water and just egg in the same batch, according to the recipe on the back

I use apple sauce
you can use a banana instead of an egg and that works
