- Ukrainian forces have broken Russian lines at Urozhaine and have retaken the village! Russian forces have been almost completely stopped at Avdiivka and Bakmhut with proof of heavy losses from superior Ukrainian firepower today. Russian forces are taking insurmountable losses as Ukraine is poised to stop all offensive progress from the Russian army. A Russian jet was shot down over Makiivka today.

The return of Surovikin could also be reflection of the current ascendancy of the anti-Shoigu forces led by Nilokai Patrushev. So perhaps they are planning to replace Shoigu with Surovikin.

Being a former Bradley guy, TOW will kill a T80, but it takes time to setup the shot. TOW launcher takes forever to move to fire position (it feels like forever in a fight).
Great stream, Afghanistan was once called a “bleeding wound” for the Soviet Union. Ukraine has become that for Russia.

So roughly 50k casualties in total. If that counts as a "bleeding wound", then Ukraine is a "gaping wound".

Those "rocks" at 1.12 are remnants of German Atlantic wall bunkers. Some of the beaches in that area and further south are absolutely littered with those things partially or completely taken over by the Atlantic Ocean. If you look at "Ile de Re", wich is an island ( connected to the mainland with a bridge) in the departement Charente-Maritime you will find a huge complex of bunkers wich are in some cases reclaimed by the ocean as well but many completely intact and I was stunned a few years back strolling trough that area unaware of its existence. You will find a complex with an absolutely massive concrete observation tower and the remains of a fire base. Bizarre experience must say.

Just a thought: considering the fact that the Russians only were able to take back a few small patches during the past few months and see how powerful and quick the Ukranians are coming back, the Ukranian army must have been fighting like "hounds from hell" making Russian life a terrible place to be!! It does not matter if you are for or against the Ukranians - you have to acknowledge that the Ukranians are clearly the superior force! I have NO DOUBT that Ukraine will win!

@@skankhunt420 Even a tank without ammunition is a dangerous weapon when there’s countless unarmed military personnel just standing alongside a road. They’re witnessing tons of partisan attacks, so to think that a driver might possibly take an errant turn isn’t exactly a stretch of the imagination.

i think surovikin was gone due to the prigozhin affair and his fight with Shoigu and Garasimov, Putin sided with Shoigu in their political fights. now with Shoigu and garasimov out of the picture, Surovikin is back and probably might replace shoigu or garasimov.

I love looking at navy docks on satellite imagery , and yeah, Russian naval docks are so barebones.
Even russia's 1 (set piece) carrier can be seen (69°02'25.5"N 33°04'09.8"E) docked the the most basic rundown dock i have ever seen, the warehouse there is literally in ruins, the walls surrounding the dock facility is literally falling apart and missing large sections.
There are no checkpoints or anything, it looks like you could essentially just walk up to it...
You know those bond movies, games and such where they try to portray russian naval bases? yeah, no, it's so much worse then they have ever portrayed them to be.
The only ones that seem to be in a decent state seem to be St. Petersburg (Putin's favorite city) and the ones on the black sea, most of which used to be Ukrainian.
