Getting addicted to your videos everyday....
Lol, that's not a bad addiction I think 😁
Thanks for the l/room tour, you still have some work to go, but good job thus far everything in due time.Regarding your living room, it might surprise you ...often places look small without things in them, like land before a building is put up. All the best!
Yea, when we were digging the foundation, I was worried that the house would turn out really small. Kumbe!
Yap, got a lot of work awaiting me 😩
Keep rocking girl 🎉
Thank you Rachel 🙂
Dnt give up gal all shall be well in God,s name ,ur such a humble lady congratulations
Thank you so much 🙏🏿
You did great !! I think this is more a shoe video vs house tour lol I also love Ross & Burlington !!
Lol, not really. The shoes just happened to be there. And I couldn't ignore them.
Yesss, I miss spending my Saturday mornings there, and leaving with less than $50 expenditure 😂
I was waiting for this video the all day from Germany 🇩🇪
Hehehe, thanks for letting me know 🙂
Hope it was worth your time 🙂
Oh how i love shopping at Burlington stores… they have good stuffs at reasonable prices.
💯
nice video stay strong
Thank ya! 🙂
❤❤
I feel your frustration with the fundis having experienced the same but we were very stubborn with what we wanted and if the fundis weren't convinced we were there when the job was being done. We have very big and low windows so yes you can have what you want. When you have the funds to complete do what you want not the norm. Good luck
💯
I'm so tired of fundis 🤦🏿
Glad it went well for you guys despite the frustrations.
@Emmily that shoe shop that closed could it b 'Payless'? U could get some good shoes at a good price.
Yeeesss Payless!!! Imagine I remembered the name after I'd finished recording 😂
Thanks for the reminder!
Hi repairs are costly ..so been extra keen for the remaining part of construction
💯
Again, greatly appreciate the detailed tour. As someone who is researching and looking to relocate from the US to Kenya in the future, are there certain things you felt you would have loved to bring with you from the US. For eg some kitchen appliance. I know there are in Kenya but appear quality is wanting.
Good question, I'll respond to you soon in a vlog.
Hi, am happy for your project keep up good work. One thing I will say is that not only you whom I have seen this mafundis messing peoples houses is worrying, am building soon and I have to hire experienced fundis who know how to build, I would rather pay more than to correct defects later.
The remaining work, please get a good experienced person, no rush.
💯
Actually my fundis weren't cheap. So paying more sometimes doesn't mean that your getting a better fundi.
I think it's a matter of accurately identifying skilled ones.
I think the name of the store is Payless
💯
Thank you for the video Emily. How far is this place from Narok town?
Thank you for watching!
It's about 10 km or less to/from Narok town.
Fikeni kwetu pia guys we grow together
9:22 it's called a hand drilling machine.
Okay, thanks for letting me know Waweru! 🙂
It seems this fundis were jokers. A lot of kienyenji job .
💯😞
Is that a house tour ? Am I missing anything?
It's a house tour. But in the video, I mentioned I'll end up doing it in phases due to certain reasons mentioned in the video.
Also the video title is specific that this is a Living Room tour of my rural, off-grid, bungalow.
Nyumba za Garofa hazina vents..even in usa..houses don't have..vents..so they r not that important..
Vent are important especially when using a charcoal stove to reduce carbon monoxide concentration.
💯
True, the fundi at my neighbor's project sote told me the same too. However, mine isn't gorofa.
Our house has vents and is gorofa here in Nbo.
Vent is omitted only when you have the air conditioner. Otherwise, vent is very important.
Do u have enough watch hours yet?
Good question. I'm no longer able to see the tracking page. Was told to reapply for monetization after 90 days.
I'm guessing I've definitely made the watch hours by now though. Cz before everything went haywire, I already had 3,095 watch hours. And that's even before I posted the apartment complex video which has gotten a lot of views.
What a pity. The workmanship on your home is very poor!!! And they way they spoke to you like a woman who does not know anything.
You should have had a foreman to help you.
I actually had a foreman. But we fell off at some point before completion of construction.
I think they took an advantage of you; quacks/ not professional at all- just after money!
💯😩
