For the rod support, depending on the length of the rod, you can install a shelf rod with a hook at the end to support the rod. Just make sure the shelf rod/hook is strong enough to support a load of hanging clothes. Closets utilize this support feature. Good job with the house! 🙂

Please don't vent out at your viewers for bad comments remember they still watched your content & contributed to your revenue. Criticism is constant no matter good or bad.
Revenue matters aside, I respond to almost every comment, whether it's good or "bad".
So when I get an unreasonable comment, you best believe that I'll respond to it in equal measure, as needed.
Seems to me like you're suggesting that only good comments should receive my attention; and if I do receive negative ones, I should look the other way.
If that's what you'd rather do if in such a situation, that's fine. That's you, not me. We're all human, and react to things differently. So as much as the naysayers have a right to feedback on my content, so do I have a right to respond or address their feedback.
And as much as I may not like their feedback, you nor they don't have to like my feedback either. Just bcz they are my viewers, that shouldn't disqualify or shut me up from expressing my opinion as well.
After all, it's an equal playing field; or is it not?

My tiles zilivunjwa pia..hakuna otherwise. The sooner the better. Otherwise, unnecessary inconveniences. Jipatie psych and get a good plumber who will do minimal damage. It will only take a tile or two.

With your toilet concerning flushing you can fix thin pipe over the rode which should be longer .

its a nice video ,dont worry about haters .my advice to you if you don't fix that leakage in the bathroom it might cost you a lot in future it might be a broken pipe or lose joint put that in mind . still you have answered my question single taken still waiting to hear you .

I agree, it needs fixing asap. However, since I'm not seeing any leakage bcz the water is closed, I'm thinking then that the leakage only occurs when water is open. Thus my guess is that it's just a loose joint that needs tightening. Otherwise, were it a broken pipe, I'm guessing that water would still leak cz there have got to be some water stored in that pipe.

I agree with you that some folks feel like I'm making a ton of money from vlogging, thru their viewership. Therefore, I should sit down, shut up, and listen to their nonsensical feedback, with my head down.
I actually don't mind constructive criticism, bcz I know I ain't perfect. But critique me reasonably.
Yap, my house ain't built of YT money btw. Also, some folks don't know that I'm actually not monetized by YT, so I'm not making even a penny from all my videos. But even if I was monetized, that doesn't mean that I shouldn't have a right of reply.
Anyway, I've decided that hii kubishana bishana na watu is a waste of my time, and energy. I knew these YT streets would be tough, so I better develop some shock absorbers, as my Mom would often say, when faced with a difficult situation.

Nice house, the only sad thing is how fundis in kenya work. Mimi i almost broke up 2 wks ago after realising my plumber made so many mistakes. I didnt pay cheap it's only my bro ( another big mistake) convinced me that he is a profession. To cut the Story short, i might repeat the whole plumbing. Good thing is, the tiling is not yet done. I'll not give up my dream. One day with God's Grace, all will be fine.

Yea, hapo kwa recommendations of fundis by friends and relatives, ata mimi kimeniramba kuniramba. And I think that they are not being malicious, they are actually trying to help based on their past work experience, only to realize their fundi's true colors from us.
Also, people have this assumption, that we paid cheap fundis, hence the reason why we're getting shody results. Nope! Your case is a good example. So is mine. Bado sijawapea story. I'll tell you guys more as time goes by.

I was looking forward to the house tour but it turned out you keep showing us all the faults. That is boring and misleading. It's second video you including all the stuff that went wrong ,that's not what we looking for but it's for you to discuss with your builders.

What do you expect to see or hear in a house tour? Basically, what are you and like minded people "looking" for exactly, in a house tour?
How was showing you the "faults" misleading?
How much construction experience do you have?
I actually had to Google the term house tour, but only got definitions for the word 'tour'. According to some online dictionaries, including Cambridge, a tour basically means visiting a place, and learning about it.
That said, when I gave a tour of the different sections of my unfinished house, I spoke about the good, and mostly the bad experiences that I've had during the construction process. Of which the latter was more common. Thus, I don't blame you for choosing to focus your dissatisfaction on the latter.
I'm guessing that you could be new to my channel, hence the reason why you fail to understand my content. If you'd like, you can check my channel's description for more info. However, what I can say briefly here, is that the purpose of my channel is to share my real life experience of moving back home, be it good, bad, or ugly. In the hope that someone out there might learn something from me, before hand. Of which, surprisingly, some folks have confessed to have learned a thing or two from me sharing my "faults" experience. I've also learned from some of my viewers who've come up with various remedies for my "faults".
I don't know which builders you're referring to. But it takes a wise person to know that I can't "discuss" the "faults" with the original builders. Neither can I afford to do most of the repairs now with new builders, due to financial challenges, as I've mentioned in several videos previously, which you've likely not watched. So guess what, I've chosen to discuss the "faults" with my viewers for now, until I get the repairs done. And I'll also discuss with the results after repairs. So you may want to stick around, cz that part might meet your expectations.
Besides, it's my house tour, so if I choose to show everything including, the "faults", that's up to me, but not up to you to decide what I should or shouldn't show. I'm simply showing the cards that I was dealt with, good or bad.
I don't know how much construction experience that you, and like minded people have. It could be a lot more than me, and seamless as well. Regardless, we all don't have such seamless experiences, so bear with those of us who want to vent, share, and learn about the do's and dont's of construction based on "faulty" experiences.
Btw, we all have choices. So do you. If you ask me, people like you have a choice in regard to watching the type of content that satisfies them. And my guess is that my type of content, ain't for you, and like minded people.

Disclaimer: People are going to criticize. Toughen up if you want to survive on these YT streets. Is it nice? No, but some of these people are harsh. My first time clicking on and the ranting turned me off.
It's unfortunate that you viewed my self defense and explanation to unreasonable comments as a rant, and as a turn off.
These YT streets should be two-way streets, not one-way streets. As much as I'm expected to '"toughen" up when I receive negative feedback, I believe viewers also need to "toughen" up and stomach negative feedback or response from me as a content creator as well, as needed.
Matter of fact I've said several times, that I don't mind negative feedback or constructive criticism. But I draw the line when I feel like a comment is unreasonable, or tries to paint me as a fraud.
