Very helpful video. My Lincoln MKX has been sitting up for several months while I was driving another vehicle. On my way to an appointment the wrench light popped on. I plan to use my Obd scan tool to check for codes, follow up on that, check all fluids, change oil, clean the air intake, and go through as many steps I can before taking it to the dealership. Thanks for such an informative video.
@Clarence Covington, what was done to resolve the issues. My ford escape 2008 is showing wrench and I notice it requires.ore rpm to move now. It goes as high as 3-4k rpm. Which is different from before of less than 2k-2.5k rpm

Hi, I had to sleep in my Ford Everest Trend 2013 overnight with the engine on. In the morning the wrench light on. I was able to go home. The following morning, the wrench light disappeared. What do you think?
How is it possible that they put a light that when turns on it can mean anything?
I have been driving my 07 fusion sel with the wrench code on for 2 months now and the thing that is causing it is when I brake at over 30mph the car pushes a little bit forward and the wrench comes on like a small transmission slip. Let's see how long I can go without dying out.
How long did it last after that
Seems like a rip-off on Ford's behalf. Just a way to get more people in the shop that doesn't necessarily have an issue that is going to prevent the trip from being completed. Mine turns on however throws no code that is stored.
Part of your information is inaccurate, you cannot just switch a pcm, it will need programming either by the dealer or a license locksmith who is allow to program that equipment, after watching your video i went to the junk yard and got a pcm box for my 2007 lincoln navigator it wont even start, when calling the junk yard yelling that they sold me a broken box, they laughed and then asked if I programmed the pcm, after I said no they told me who ever told me it can just work without programming is a fool, I mentioned youtube again they laughed, I think that part of your information should be corrected
