Aligeri only got knocked down 4 times. The other 2 knock downs were really slips. Aligeri really did better than I thought he would. He managed to not get put to sleep. He was still standing at the end of the twelfth round. He may have run a marathon but what could he do against someone like Pacquiao?

Everyone loves Manny, so I don't think it's intentional disrespect, but for some reason they do that in a lot of his fights. In the Cotto fight, the announcers kept hyping up every little thing Cotto did, even while Manny was making him a total punching bag. Same thing in Pac vs. Thurman.
