U can come to France there is the mma factory gym that formed Ngannou and Cyril Gane
How old are you, if I may ask? Also, please let us know if you come to France. I don't do MMA...I've just begun Krav Maga. Nonetheless, it would be nice to see your work.
@@RonnelB. I actually live in France
@@ireneeimbert71 Yet Ngannou gives no honor to France, he is not a champion of anything. Cyril will knock him out in the fourth.
Outstanding as always brother, crazy gas tank and your polished techniques are chained together with great skill. You're the man.
I could watch this type of content all day. Simply the best breakdown commentary and high-lighting. What a beautiful thing to watch.......the sweet science!
thank you bro!!
Wow its amazing how fast jeff is.
I feel like a snail just watching.

Damn, you looked so fricken good. They may have cardio, but you definitely had better fight iq and technique. You were able to observe their patterns and use superior bjj.
thanks brother!!!
And they only had the cardio cuz heâd been traveling otherwise heâd have that too lol
Bjj = blow job jitsu? I'm a specialist in that, once I get mouth around your member, it's GAME OVER. I don't stop till you're DRAINED
Iâm glad you put that kid in his place the second to last fight. With those small gloves, one small mistake is a injury. Nice head movement đđœ
argentinian have boxing in the blood but suck at grappling.

thanks bro!!

@@blackmetalcumbia are you crazy? Iâd box any one of you any given day. Yâall donât got the fight in ya blood bro
@@finalevo1571 letâs make it happen send you to united tomorrow and make sure we got cameras lmao
You and that second guy were all smiles and no bad vibes. That is the beauty of this art. All fun and great exercise as well. Glad there are still guys out there like that.
cheers :)
he looked like he was having a blast and probably learned a lot with that round, super cool to watch
4:43 What I really don't like in mma sparring is that when I pull my high kicks right before they connect people catch them on their head and sweep or take me down. It does force me to get some extra grappling in but it still feels cheap. You ain't catching a full speed high kick after it connects.
True, I found that turning my hips down, pulling the leg out of the catch and throwing a side kick while running away does the trick most of the time as long as you are not near the cage or rope.
itâs just the reflex, this happens with kicks all the time either they are threw with full force or not
haha yeah happens to me alllll the time!
Yeah but its whatever dude, like you said, you get some extra grappling practice
Just follow through with your kick at a controlled rate(I use my knee to do this mostly). Your kick would be respected and itâd probably help hip strength if anything.
Please don't fast forward the grappling. I really love your grappling and it helps me see how you defend, scramble, attack etc. I REALLY appreciate your grappling. It's a part of mma. This is coming from a black belt in tkd and kyokushin and I'm fairly a noob to grappling.
I appreciate the feedback brother!!

"my fiancé wasn't happy about it, so we got more" lmaoo
LOL
Been training mma for 5 years now and watching these videos is a huge learning opportunity and inspiration for me. I have no intention of being a pro or even amateur fighter just like the competition in the gym and the work out. These breakdown videos are so good keep them coming!
thanks for the feedback man, more coming!
Out of curiosity how old are you brother?
30
I thought the same when I started, but now that I became a little bit better I'm so excited to do a few amateur fights. Not to make a living, just for the adrenaline and competition, conquer a few medals and stuff.
Your pacing and understanding of your body is honestly underrated. That's just something that comes out of experience and wisdom, and a lot of young fighters tend to not understand pacing as well.
thanks bro!
That first guy was really good, considering he's only 21 years old (maybe I'm just impressed because I'm 21)
but once you figured him out, the difference in diversity was insane.
He was really good at a couple moves and once you adjusted, it looked like it was hard for him to adjust
thanks bro!! yeah very talented guys
Only 21... Bruh that's some people's prime :P
What was Mike Tyson's age when he became champ?
@@virityrealtual3831 MMA prime Is way different than a boxers prime. Boxers usually start boxing at a rlly young age(around 10-13 year old) and even then most boxers reach their prime at around their late 20s or early 30s. MMA fighters are usually people who focused on one Martial art/Combat sport when they were adolescents and then learned starting learning different styles into adulthood. Which is why a lot of MMA fighters most dominant years can usually be in their early to mid 30s. Mainly because youth MMA is more or less illegal or barely ever done.
Hi, it is actually me and that was a mistake, I'm actually 18 YO, lol
Thanks for your nice words, dude
i just had a sparring session yesterday with a guy who wouldnt stop throwing hard ass punches, caught me with an uppercut while i tried to move in as he was atleast 3 inches taller than me, ended up with a bruised up eye and face, all good tho we continued the round, right after the shot. Once we were done i just told him that going so hard makes no sense, we aint preparing for a match or a tournament, we are just having fun lets focus on our footwork and technic.. we are still intermediate begginers, we don't fully know how to roll with the punches etc.. why go so hard brotha? im glad you put the second to last guy in his place, dude doesn't realize he's wearing smaller gloves and he could easily break someone's nose with that uppercut that he threw. fucking hell people go on a heavy bag, release your testosterone and come and spar like a human being
also love the vid and your content keep it up
good for you for educating him! thanks for watching brother, happy New Years!
@@MMAShredded happy new years to you too! I wish you and your family much health, happiness and love in the following years :)
I feel ya....I was sparring an idiot who was going full power (he actually hurt me even when I was blocking with boxing gloves) and he had the audacity to tell me that I am going too hard, after I decided to match his power. Some people are just idiots with too much ego and they just want others to be their punch bags. It's a tough one because they either force you to ask them to take it easy (making yourself look like you can't take it) or go as hard but it can turn ugly, especially when they can't take it.
Stop crying
@@panostsak the thing is the guy told me before the sparring session that he has a hard time controlling his power.. i was like okay i ate shots before even had my teeth broken and a nose fractured... how bad can it be, however controlling power my ass he didnt even try to hold back. He was on the younger side even though im 22 myself i believe be was 18 so i just took it and let him work but i made sure to explain stuff to him afterwards.. whether it got through to him or not aint my problem. all i know i wont show any type of respect next time. sometimes u just have to go rough and hit them as hard as they hit u to teach them a lesson.
Dayummmm Jeff. You always post amazing content and this one was no exception. Itâs insane how quickly you can make reads on opponents and adjust your game-plan to win. I also love how â3 weeks offâ Jeff still whoops everyone in the end. Gonna go work some of those sneaky combos now
thanks bro :)) happy new year!
Love your transparency and honesty you're the only fighter I watch that shares so much insight and an inside look into fighting. Keep up the good work we all will continue to watch you on your journey.
thank you brother happy new year!!
Those are some really good sparring sessions! Amazing work, especially interesting the last two! Keep 'em coming!

Youre breakdowns are absolutely amazing man, you breakdown stuff I didnt even see and you explain your thougtprocces really good. Thank you for putting in the work
thank you brother!
You're my favorite fighter! Great work Jeff! I've learned so much from your videos and it's great to see you in action!
thank you brother I appreciate the support!
Awesome sparring! I always look forward to these! The footage, editing and the breakdown of these sessions is pure genius! I have to say, these young Argentinian guys bring a heck of a lot of skill and stamina to these sparring sessions - certainly look like pros themselves!
We've recently seen Gabriel Varga sign a contract with the Karate Combat league, your standup and speed is awesome - is that something you'd consider?
thanks for watching man! I am still in a contract with ONE
This breakdown is perfect! đ
Apparently there are more strikers so I (as others I guess) enjoyed some the grappling and some of it speed up with some of the ground play đ đ
thanks for the feedback brother :)
man, these videos are so helpful - thank you!
thanks man!
Amazing content as usual! I can watch your videos all day, super informative as well
thank you for your feedback bro!!
Kid was going hard but he was just testing you. It wasn't personal and I'm sure he'd have a beer with you and talk about the fact that he's not at your level. Great video!! đ„đ„đ„
for sure ! he was a very nice person !
I hear what you're saying about the high guard. How is Petyr Yan so successful with it? could you do a video breakdown of his approach to defense?
it works if you are as tough as he is. And although it works for him, and it doesn't "hurt" him, it doesn't mean that his brain isn't taking that extra impact. I use to use that guard in Muay Thai all the time, but I felt I was getting slower and my memory was getting worse. Its probably from sparring in general, but im trying to minimize now and think of longevity
@@MMAShredded Thanks for the reply Jeff.
Something you can't really train for is a cinder block dome, I guess.
@@tfunknationtown In short; Yan makes it work in MMA because is part of his defense but is not his only defense, Yan hand-fights and parries A LOT, try to give a watch to Yan vs Cory, you will notice fairly quickly.
Having said that, I don't do sparring myself, but I do agree with Jeff, high guards and shelling has to be less healthy for you in the long run, the force of the impact is still transferred to your head, also this guard can incentivize a go forward or stand your ground kind of style, and that can make the issue even worse.
Thank you for sharing Jeff, really good content
thanks for watching man!!
Really enjoyed the video Jeff. Safe travels to you both!
Thanks brother !
The atmosphere is impressive in the gym! All of you were sparring technically, even if you are a newcomer and no one was training to pull your head off... unlike gyms I've visited, people were trying to kill each other during sparring, even with MMA gloves. Crazy.
damn lol ! cheers!
Hi jeff! is it ok to spar with increase in speed during sparring or maintain in a flow pattern?
Speed up but moderately
yes as long as you can maintain the control!!
Thanks guys appreciate the advice Happy new year!!!
One thing to watch out for, at least from my experience, is making sure youâre still extending on your punches even with the speed.
Jeff really appreciate your videos. It is a good way to teach people. Thank you.
thanks for watching :)
Nice work! Thanks for the motivation and showing you can be humble and a badass at the same time

Love your work, it really motivates me to practice some of the stuff you chuck in your spars. I take notes as well haha

Love seeing young people showing control and respect offering your body to your training partner . Sometimes if they havent learned that lesson , you have to teach them just enough to knock the chip off .

I sparred my friend who doesnât fight yesterday and I found my self fighting just like u do your a great teacher man
Thx man!
I love your weave to kick combos. I started integrating the low kick version a couple weeks ago and am really digging how much power it keeps. I really need to work on my takedowns though. My usual partner is about 270 and highly paranoid of takedowns so taking him down often takes a day foreplay, flowers, dinner, that sort of thing. This sparring and your breakdown were awesome, thank you for sharing!
awesome! thanks for watching!
"Foreplay, flowers, dinner" đ ik the type, in and out of the ring lmao
I love your style man, your striking is so fluid and you don't waste time overthinking where to attack from. You just let loose. I'm currently training Muay Thai and our coach teaches a lot of shell blocking when my instinct is to parry (I tend to have a reach advantage and prefer long guard). For someone like me who would like to crossover eventually to MMA, would you be able to do a video about some guard options with the MMA gloves? Much appreciated and keep up the great videos!
