Hello. Good sound from a budget guitar. The clean sound from the neck pick was just amazing 🤩

You should look into other reviews of this model. There is a problem with the hardware coating, which results in the ground connection to the bridge being weak/none. Fixing this should allow the guitar to handle high gain much better.

I was not aware of that. The preamp on this particular guitar produces a full sound from the piezo.

I bought the JA version of this guitar. The ground at the bridge is the first thing I will check.

Don’t understand why the Root costs 10 times the price of this HB.

Because the quality on the fender is higher common sense.

Yeah, their switches and stuff are cheap, but easy to fix if you happen to get a bad one, or it craps out after the warranty. I just fix mine when something goes south. Had it happen to my Fenders too. I have two HBs and overall build quality and playability is pretty good. Especially for the price. It plays as nice as one of my $900.00 Fenders. At under $200.00 the Harley Benton is a good guitar.
