great review. this seems like a solid and classy looking strat. can’t beat hb really. I own p90s goldtop and bass VI converted to a baritone and those are 2 of my favourite sounding guitars despite owning 30x priced instruments

I own one of these I can vouch they are a great guitar. I'm in the process of trying to do a trade for some black chrome James Hatfield EMG pickups I want to put in it. But the pickups in this guitar are good though. I also put Ernie Ball Mammoth Slinky's on this guitar they sound good but are a little Muddy with the current pickups.
What tuning are you in with those Mammoths?

You don’t need swap pickups to EMGs ... just solve problem with the bridge, painted with non-conductive paint. And, also with shielding, which is completely missing. After that, you will be surprised with quietness and clarity of the HBZs. You don’t need any noise gate even on higain channel of Marshall.
758 has some ‘splainin’ to do. I love Harley Benton guitars, can’t go wrong for the price especially if you don’t mind doing a bit of work on them yourself. Seems like a nice guitar this one.

I just get it ..but pickups say:HBZ Custom wound …. I don’t see this on other Benton st 20 hh active anywhere
Why do most of CZcams guitarists demo on expensive amps or plug ins that not all bedroom players av..... Why not just plug in to a katana or similar

No you can't ! Active pickups allow more powerful pickup even if nowadays it's possible to have powerful non active pickups. And if I remember right, active pickup mean also low impedance outpout
