      @@gabriel.psycho cool joke and it made me laugh ;) About pentatonic shred licks, I suggest you should search for Andy James' lessons. He's a way better guitar player than I ever will be and I got my inspiration from his licks - well, the licks I'm able to play. A good basis is his series of video called "shred guitar in 6 weeks", he's showing lots of his own licks, techniques and there's a lot to learn.

    Nice Review👍🏻 I play Strats over 20 years and bought a HB ST 62 CC...I was blown away by the quality, exept the vibrato, I changed it and puttet a Wilkinson in. Now I' ve got a Strat who's equal to my mexican Strats but the Roswell Alnico 5 Singlecoils are way better.
    The HB in this Review is a Gain Monster, I play it every day when I practice and on Stage. It's complete Stock, stays in tune and Sounds great for Metal and shredding. crazy for that price and like you said, volume on 7 is maximum, at 8 it will get noisy and crazy overdriven. Thank you very much for your channel 👍🏻

      Thanks man ! It's amazing that you can go on stage with a 128€ guitar without improving anything. Tuning stability on mine is not good enough for this but with a good nut I'm sure it could do it.

    • @michalkysel4351
      @michalkysel4351 Před rokem

      @@goncaloviegas9557 Noise problem can be easily solved by shielding of the cavities. On the SC-1000, biggest noise source was switch and control cavities (especially switch cavity), not pickups itself! When these cavities were shielded, almost all noise was gone, even with unshielded pickup cavities. When I shielded also pickup cavities, it has only effect of noise supression, when I don’t touch the strings. So, main noise source is the wiring, not pickups itself.

    • @michalkysel4351
      @michalkysel4351 Před rokem

      @@ToroKchannel I mean that pickups are the same. What is different, is internal wiring. Seems to be HB added internal shielding, which making really big difference! I completely shielded my SC-1000 , and it has now same low noise floor, as this guitar from your test.

    I like the look of the guitar but could you tell me how long the battery will last please ? Also would this guitar be just as suitable for all types of playing, or is it more suitable for heavy/distorted tones because of the active pickups ?

    • @ToroKchannel
      @ToroKchannel  Před 2 lety +2

      I haven't had this guitar for such a long time but if those HBZ are like EMG a classic battery should last between 1500 and 2000 hours. So if you don't forget to plug it out after playing, your battery can last for years. I really think this axe is more for metal, but I've already heard people playing nice bluesy songs with active pickups. I'm a poor blues player anyway so I would play metal even a Gibson 335 :)

    hello! ive been thinking of getting this guitar as a mod platform, id just like to ask how difficult it is to replace the stock parts (PUPS, tuners, nut) since I've never customised a guitar before

    • @ToroKchannel
      @ToroKchannel  Před rokem

      Well man, it really does depend upon what you wanna do. Tuners will be easy (be careful with the screw hles whan you chose your next tuners). The nut requires a bit more attention, especially when you will remove the stock one. If there is too much glu on it, considering how narrow it is, you will have to be careful not to damage the wood. For the pickups, well if you buy something like an EMG loaded pickgard, it will be super easy. If you wanna go for some passive pickups, things are more complicated.

    • @ToroKchannel
      @ToroKchannel  Před 2 lety

      When you will chose your locking tuners you just have to pay attention to the place of the drillng holes. When I change tuners I generally go for Gotoh, they're not that expensive and they're doing a great job.
