- Tomb Raider I-III Remastered comes out this Wednesday. February 14th, and thanks to @crystaldynamics, I was gifted an early access review copy of the game! I'm so excited to share a first look with you all!
For this video, we take a look at the updated menus and a full playthrough of the Caves level of Tomb Raider I! Ill be talking about my favorites features, exciting changes, and sharing a glimpse for what you can expect! I did use tank controls for this play-through, but I will upload a separate video with modern controls! There will also be full walkthroughs on my channel for The Great Wall level from Tomb Raider II and the Jungle level from Tomb Raider III!

I think the remaster reveals even more how revolutionary this game was for its time. Added foliage, greenery, snow, and sun rays make the game much prettier to look at but I love seeing when you switch between the classic and remaster modes that it's evident where the devs heads were at and how they were so successful in creative an immersive environment with all those hardware limitations. Shame the cutscenes weren't updated compare it to diablo 2 remaster those new cutscenes look amazing

very nice video ! These games particularly 1 and 3 are some of my all time favourites. I cannot imagine playing them in the new control layout seems like blasphemy to me lol

thank you so much for sharing this with us ❤ do you know if the save system will operate the same across all platforms? For example, on the PS5 version can we save anywhere at any time or are save crystals still a thing?
You’re so welcome! And you can save anywhere on all platforms now! The save crystals in TR3 are collectibles now, too!
Nice gameplay & thanks for sharing us the cave & it's secrets, definitely can't wait to play myself, my only question is that I realized save crystals are absent. Are there any checkpoints like the LAU games?

Ohhh nooo, cutscenes are still the same.
the fmv's are but the in-game cut scenes were redone!
@@yoobrandii that is very cool, but still in my opinion if they arranged the cinematic cutscenes aswell, they would've done a really perfect job far from what they did now. At the end of the day it is very nice to see lara back. #childhoodmemories

Did the completely do away with save crystals?
They're in the game but they're only collectibles now! You can save anywhere!

30 on original, 60 on remasters.
