I would suggest 1 small change in your hookup. Since the water filter will lower your pressure and flow put it first in line - then the regulator. Granted, if you happen to get a hookup with super high pressure it may blow your filter but I consider that unlikely. The way you have it with the pressure regulator first brings the pressure to 50-55, but the water filter following with lower that number to the RV connection.

      Thanks Soccer Dad,
I’ll try that when my filter gets plugged and the water flow slows again to compare the difference. -Steve

We tried this. It increased our water pressure for one week and today our water filter busted and we had water spraying everywhere. Thankfully our neighbor notified us and we were able to shut the water off before it made a mess outside. We weren’t even using the water when the filter busted apart.

I have a 2010 RV and for some reason I cannot get good water pressure. I have no Filter and I have a regulator on it. My kitchen is even worse. I have tried cleaning the spout but did not work. Even my toilet hardly flushes. I was thinking it was the connections for the city water. Any ideas?

It could be the city water source has low pressure. It could also be your regulator. I found if I had a smaller non-adjustable regulator that it would slow the flow a lot when the city water had lower pressure. When I went to an adjustable regulator that is larger, the regulator flowed through more water when hooked to the same city connection that was slow with the small regulator.

If you have good flow from the city water, through the regulator and out of the hose that goes to the RV, it could be in the RV. For this situation, the first thing I would look at is making sure the valves are in the proper position is you have valves to turn by the water connection. Next would be to fill the fresh tank and turn off the city water to see if the water flows inside the RV with the pump. If you have good flow with the pump, it could be the check valve where your hose hooks up to the RV. amzn.to/3Mb5vqW
