My check valve went out on our trip to Yellowstone last September I pulled it apart. Ran with no guts until I got home. Just cut the pipe. Put a shut off valve in line. Been working great ever since. Thanks from Wisconsin.

We are just in our compartment today too. Our water pump went out. We keep an extra one on hand and swapped it out. And then, of course, we got the dreaded leak at an elbow! 😆
Ours being older, have had to work on the water heater a few times, did the check valve a few years ago, the pressure releif valve the next year, and the pilot light assembly the year after.. Hopefully will be good to go this year. I started keeping a check valve and a few random sharkbite adapters onboard just in case. Our PEX piping has the plastic compression fittings at all the tee's and elbows.. they dont seal up much better.
By putting the check valve back in without the spring, what are the dangers of that?

Added check valve still no HW pressure trying to flush new tank next fixtures are 2 yrs old ..crazy
We switched our over to a on demand furion water heater for this exact reason and organized those hoses when I had it tore apart ! Never run out of hot water again unless the propane runs out first😂😂😂😂
That’s on our list for an upgrade at some point. Maybe one day! 😣
Just an FYI…Don't attach copper or brass directly to steel or the steel will corrode and rust.

Was happy ours came with the tankless on demand. Seems every youtuber at some point those plastic fittings on the top/bottom of that tank will eventually leak. Good that your top one is changed but i wouldve replaced the bottom one as well with a metal one while you were in there.
That’s a good call. I didn’t even think about it at the time. We just wanted water pressure at that point. 😩 I’ll have to do that next time I’m in there. Thanks for the suggestion!

HI Harold, my friends Momentum looses water pressure in the garage bath and kitchen BUT master bath and shower are fine have you heard of this? any idea? We have a 399th love it have a great day!!

We had a few instances where pressure would drop but only on the hot side. I would check to see if they have a line that collapsed somewhere. Those are also the farthest water line runs so make sure you have good pressure to start.
What are they thinking putting the transfer switch under the water lines
