Frigidaire water dispenser paddle fix

In this video, my Frigidaire fridge (model #FRS6HR45KS) had a mechanical failure on the water dispenser paddle. I was expecting to have to replace parts, but was pleasantly surprised that super glue worked.

I’m trying to pull out the panel but my water line is wedged very tightly. Any advice on how to pull it out?

How do you know to buy the right paddle? Where do you find the right model numer?

I would have backed up that repair with epoxy around the crack after the glue set. Good video though, like all the rest you do.

Thank you! I am actually surprised this repair held up for as long as it has... the super glue is still holding today! Gotta love Loctite Ultra Gel!

Plastic welding might work too. I just don't have that equipment... Yet🙂

I would get that part laser scanned and 3D printed in metal

Yep, absolutely no issues!
