The easiest way to get emeralds I've found without having a super complicated farm is trading sticks with fletchers and trading glass panes with cartographers, ridiculously easy to get hundreds of emeralds
I've been trading glass panes with cartographers, and the amount he wants keeps going up, started with 11 panes for 1 emerald, now he's up to 62 panes for 1 emerald.
Or buy bookshelves from librarians and trade them for books. If both cost 1 emerald you can turn 1 emerald in 12 emerald in one go
@@LLLadySSS this is the way. Can turn 1 emerald into a infinite amount with this method of you hve enough villagers to sell bookshelves I even buy them at 2 emeralds if they bitch about it
Melon / Pumpkin auto farms are really not too bad to build if youâre ok with mining a decent bit of iron, quartz, and red stone. Itâs really nice to be able to afk and come back for easy emerald trades. One round of zombification makes even a small pumpkin / melon afk setup incredibly lucrative.
@@kevooo1250 I haven't went back since the trade got that high, but I wonder if it's not resetting cuz my only village is a couple hundred blocks from my home
16:18
Let me make his point clear as many of you might be confused about villager despawning.
When there is a hostile mob and if you go 128 blocks away from it. it will instant despawn. and if more than 32 blocks away for 30+ seconds, it will despawn. and zombie villagers are technically a hostile mob.
however, if you have at least traded once with the villager before zombification, they won't despawn at all.
HOWEVER, Any mob in a minecart/Boat do NOT despawn under any circumstances. Just make sure the zombie villagers are undead mob and burn in sunlight, so they may burn. Make sure you have a roof and you are fine.
Thanks đ
Or use a nametag
@@SCGdLm i mean, make it as cheap as possible is the goal
@@Zyrexia My comment/tip was in regards to them despawning. If you throw the name tag on them they do not.
Uhhh so my 2 farmers despawned after I traded with them hundreds of coal and strings, mind explaining that? đ đ
Found your channel recently and i respect the amount of time u put in each video. they are so helpful
Thank you so much!
Another easy way to get the weakness effect is to trade weakness tipped arrows from fletcher, just remember to use an unenchanted bow and pull it lightly so it does not kill the zombie villager.
Also use a crossbow with piercing to pick the arrow back up
no waaaaayyyy
Wait that's a really good tip, definitely using that
Having an iron farm is so OP since theirs multiple villagers that buy 4 iron for 1 emerald. Insane amounts of xp and emeralds early game
That sounds really inefficient lol
@@corystadman9089 I have more than a double chest full of iron from it just running in the background while I build/mine other stuff. Say I have a dozen villagers that buy 4 for 1 emerald they will eventually go down to 3 for 1 emerald. Itâs a killer deal and you can use those same villagers for diamond enchanted tools, armor, and weapons
@@Matt-hy9qj I like to have my iron for rails and hoppers, but that does make sense
I agree For my play style itâs way op
@@corystadman9089 you could make 2 or 3 iron farms together if you want to have more than enough iron
I highly recommend the pumpkin and melon trades they are highly sustainable and are great early game when larger more expensive farms like gold or iron are difficult to set up
Or just make ianxofourâs raid farm which takes 15 minutes and makes 3k emeralds an hour xD

I had read that villagers only regain health/heal from sleeping in a bed & I was having problems trying to work beds into a trading hall. Now that I know trades will heal them, a severe epidemic of insomnia is about to invade my trading hall.
I really like your 3 station set up.
Thank you for the info & great video.
You can just make their little cubical three high, three long, and one wide. Take them out of the minecart once you get them in the trading post, and put a bed down behind them. That way they can sleep but thereâs three open spaces for standing so they donât suffocate when they wake up again
you're extremely underrated! These guides are very informational and even I who thought I knew everything learn something from each one! Keep it up man!

raw Pork chops for emeralds is also a wonderful trade if youre in the middle game considering how easy it is to set up a hoglin farm that provides with tons of pork,(its is a novice trade of a butcher villager)(7 or 8 raw pork ->1 emerald)

Does yours restock his inventory, offering new books even after you buy a book from them? Mine won't change his inventory.
@@KojinMacJorn If you place a lectern down, a jobless villager will claim it and offer random trades of either paper, bookshelves, or enchanted books. If you break the lectern and place it again, the villager will show something different. If you trade with the villager and then break the lectern, it will remain a librarian and keep whatever trade it has already but it will not be able to refresh its inventory unless you place the lectern down again.
Have been waiting for this đ«
YOU ARE SOOO UNDERRATEDD
The video is great, and what makes it even awesome is that he used the "far" track at the begining.
I'd say selling sticks for Emerald on a Fletcher is also an amazing trade. It's really not that difficult to get yourself many stacks of sticks and thus have an easily renewable source of Emeralds just from getting wood. Of course if you have farms setup to easily mass produce other items that they buy, that works too, but I feel like that is just one of the easiest things to mass produce in any stage of the game so you can get yourself a lot of Emeralds.
Having a fast pickaxe with Silk touch is very good for trades with a Mason.
06:14 I love the casual disappearing of the wayward villager who took the butcher's spot.

you can apparently speed up the zombie curing by placing iron bars (up to 14 in a 9x9 area) near the zombie, as well as a bed
But the amount of time lowered is quite small (4.2% on average with 14 bars as by the wiki)
This Helped alot thanks

Ooooh, healing villagers by trading with them is something i donât think most players know
I think its crazy only 9% of your veiwers are subscribed, this could be because your videos pop up when people search how to do things on minecraft, maybe starting some sort of series would bring more of a dedicated viewer base, great vids wonderful tips, you earned a sub!
WOW!!! gr8 vid... this is going to help a lot. thanks a lot!!!
For real tho Eyecraftmc has the best and most informative minecraft Guides on the internet, I only just started playing minecraft 2 weeks ago coming from competitive gameing(Valorant, League, and Rust) at 28 years old I was lost when I loaded into a game for the first time in a very long time I played about a week purely vanilla and no YT or guides. I actually made it to the end and killed the ender dragon in just 4 days :) now im learning all the other interesting mechanics to this game
I was looking for a good video about trading with villagers and found this one. The video was really helpful and it was really easy to understand. Thank you for the great video, you just earned a new subscriber :D
Can you make a video explaining the setup of the zombification station rails etc?
Thanks for this amazing tutorial
dude your voice is amazing lol great explanation too subbed and liked
My villager that I've cured twice is refusing to restock it's trades. (pumpkins and melons). It's been 3 minecraft days. I've tried putting more beds, I've tried removing all the work stations, and have tried putting up a gazillion work stations (he goes to the one I assigned to him for work, but no restock). I'm so confused. Worked in the past.
Some solution? I have the same problem
@@nico_dibattista i moved it to a single height fence pen as opposed to double height. I also removed the work station around mid day, waited till the others refreshed their trades, and but down his work bench again. Worked then.
I theorize the are a bit traumatized after curing them. Not sure if it takes time, or if itâs the timing of when I redid the work station.
Back at mc after like 7 years this is wild thank you
Always great info, tyvm.
I need to get this game! These guides will be so helpful!

I love your videos. I WAS A NEWB but now thanks to you i know so much. THANK YOUđ
I just subscribed because your voice is so calming. Thank you for not screaming information at us đ
Slight correction needed here... From my experience multiple villagers can (and do) claim the same job block. The best way I found to block this is using a gate or fence in front of the block, with the villager using it behind the fence inside your typical "pod". I am about to experiment with how many blocks empty space, using trap doors on the underside of a 2-block high entrance/exit. That is one thing I learned that may be of interest to others, another thing is that all job blocks have to be placed on the ground (same level as villager feet) in order for a villager to attach to them. If you put a brewing stand on a block, for example, the villagers can not, and will not, attach to it.
False. I put my brewing stand on a block and because the villager could jump up beside it the villager turned into a cleric. Now if the villager cannot jump up to stand next to it then yeah it won't work.
@@zordah Thank you for clarifying this more. I should also add that I can't find how or why sometimes two villagers grab the same block. I have not been able to repeat this in testing.
Do you know when making trading halls do you need to keep the villagers in close proximity to a village or does it not matter?
@@dominicbeales7319 It doesn't matter.
I actually moved the center of a village (bell) into a trading hall! Now, in Vault Hunters, gonna make a village where there isn't one and do it again.
You just don't want Iron and Raid Farms inside your main trading halls or villages.
is there a minimum distance i have to build trading hall away from existing village? (ei my villager breeder/iron farm)
Best ways to get emeralds by having an ironfarm and a zombie pigmen farm

The best guide ever ty very much
just learnt about how villagers regen when you trade with them. Tanks a ton, I didn't know this one.
Do villager trades get replaced as the trade level go up or simply new trades get added but the old one remain?
New ones get added, the old ones remain
If you lock in a trade with a Librarian for an enchanted book like Protection I, will the enchanted book upgrade to Protection IV (maximum enchantment) as you level the Librarian up from Level 1 to Level 5 (maximum level)?
@@kaj_13 no, books do not level up. there's an equal chance to get protection I or protection IV from a librarian book trade.
I'm having issues with this. When I place the work station, the villagers won't assign themselves to it, and the villagers that I've previously locked in the trades on don't restock their items when they're in the trading hall. Is this an issue for 1.19 or is it something else?
Edit: I solved it, I think. You must basically have the entire room empty, with just one villager, and assign every villager a workstation one villager at a time. If they're all in the same room, they will "distract" each other or I guess attempt to use the same workstation.
Go on champ
