Is it possible to ignore all the best practices, break all the rules, and still be hugely successful?
In my opinion, yes. But there is one condition - you have to be really good. Here are 5 websites of amazing agencies that ignore all the best practices about UX, marketing, typography, and yet are still thriving - because their work simply kicks ass.

They are visual heavy/experience targeted sites/agencies - in these cases wins simplicity and speed of browsing content, or big jump into experience or experimental/interesting usage to showcase their "creativity". That said, all these sites easily showcase what type of clients/project they would like you to go for with them.
Please continue sharing agencies and designers!
wow! amazing experience!
Just purchased Webflow Masterclass 3.0, excited to start. Already learned a lot from your vids. Great content Ran
Just finished a course watching marathon. Awesome course man, everything I was hoping for. Will submit project for certification.
That would suck, to buy, let them know you bought, even come back to share your experience and you don't even get a response.

The content was amazing, but this intro... "wow" your video editor deserve congrats haha
Thank You
To be honest i dont like too much animation on a page. I know its trendy but it feels so distracting and messy...
Personally, I think they all suck. I really dislike that alle the agencies these days try to throw as much fancy animations and micro interactions as possible at you without any reason what so ever. It's so anoying - and boring, because you see it al the time. A portfolio should be a blank canvas to present your projects on. But no, they have to bombard you with all those visuals to show you how fancy they are. My gosh.. just let the work speak for itself for god sake! Look at the Website of Wolff Olins. This is how it should be done.
Does all these websites are made in webflow?? If not, is it possible to build these kind of websites in webflow??
The sites are cool but it is very complicated to navigate them
These websites have lot of visual noise and will not convert much.
RIP UX

Don't quite lizards, mootface
Most were fancy. But I would NEVER have this for a business.
All show, costs lots of dough, runs slow and buyers say no.
Too much animation in the 2nd and last website
Waste of time and inspiration. A regular buyer won't patronize only professionals who understands design and appreciate art will buy
Regular buyers aren't their customers.
@@milestait7738It is an agency. Website design agency. Their customers are business owners who are not even design inclined all they want is just a website for their business simple and they are regular buyers no designers. So if those are not their customers who then will be? Professional designers lol
@@intavas if you spent 10 minutes looking through their clientele you would find out exactly what sort of clients they get. Try to understand before you criticize.
@@milestait7738 So tell me who are their clients?
@@intavas do it yourself.
Too much creativity. I still prefer the simple design than those fancy sites.
