    Hi Patrick, love your video great content. My question is when approaching clients wheter cold Emails, Call or any medium is it best to approach as an individual or agency. We all think of our website design service as a business and usually prefer approaching as agency is it right to do that and get outstanding results?

    • @patrickspiegel
      @patrickspiegel  Před 7 měsíci

      Hi, thanks so much for the kind words!!
      It really depends.
      I personally approach them as a person but refer to myself as part of an agency if that makes sense.
      Again, you can do both, but generally you'll be able to charge more money and build a bigger brand as an agency.

    Thanks for the method bro worked perfectly, I have a question :
    I have an interested client for a web design in the dental niche but I don't have either a personal portfolio or an agency portfolio
    what should I do to sign him up just like that or should I drive him to my Upwork profile however I don't have any experience and no reviews?

    • @patrickspiegel
      @patrickspiegel  Před 3 měsíci +1

      Well I always recommend people to create 2-5 designs so a potential client can see your design skills etc.

    Hey Patrick, as you've mentioned about posting content, would getting dribbble pro be an appropriate way?

    • @patrickspiegel
      @patrickspiegel  Před 7 měsíci

      Hi Steven, I personally don't have experience with dribbble pro but it could be a good way to get design jobs, although I dont think businesses would be looking on dribbble, but rather other designers or agencies. And as you're targeting either Restaurants or flooring companies, I dont think those businesses would be on dribbble.

    • @patrickspiegel
      @patrickspiegel  Před 8 měsíci +1

      I like a 50 / 50 structure.
      50% upfront as a deposit, and then the rest upon completion

      I'll have a think and will either create a youtube video in the future or post it in the discord.
      Important thing is that you offer something in return; which could either be a referral commission or leveraging your social media to promote them.
      Hope that helps :)@@khanayan-v7z

    Hey Patrick, in the methods you showed, you mentioned that we need to do it for free for them. I was curious like what's in it for me? Do I have to start as a free web designer or like how long do I offer my services for free?

    • @patrickspiegel
      @patrickspiegel  Před 8 měsíci +2

      You don't have to do it for free!
      It depends on your skill level and how confident you are with your service.
      If you're just starting out, you can also offer a website for $500 and say that normally this is valued at $2000 but since you're starting out you'd be happy to do it for $500, And if you're not happy with it, I'll give you a refund.
      Therefore the client has basically no risk, and the most important thing for you is to land those first 3 clients.
      Let me know if that makes sense!

    • @khanayan-v7z
      @khanayan-v7z Před 8 měsíci +1

      @@patrickspiegel Yes bro, I am pretty confident in my skill level and with my services. This does make sense Patrick, but just curious if someone will willing to pay me 500$ to a stranger who reached him few days ago!

    • @patrickspiegel
      @patrickspiegel  Před 8 měsíci

      Haha I understand the concern.
      If you can show them the value and have a contract in place it shouldn't be hard to get them to pay you.
