  • Clash of the Titans is a 1981 fantasy adventure film directed by Desmond Davis and written by Beverley Cross, loosely based on the Greek myth of Perseus. Starring Harry Hamlin, Judi Bowker, Burgess Meredith, Maggie Smith and Laurence Olivier, the film features the final work of stop-motion visual effects artist Ray Harryhausen.

    Loved this movie as a kid. It doesn't really hold up but the Harryhausen stop motion animation is so moody and ethereal.

      It has that nostalgic feeling for me. Harryhausen animations really captured my imagination. Sadly it doesn’t hold up to capture the imagination of younger generations. 👍

      Doesn't hold up⁉️ I guess I see what u mean, but why is it so much better than the new one? That Medusa scene! I don't know how I was able to handle that as a kid😮

    Yeah I was very upset when I realized that it didn't go down like Burgess Meredith said it did. I thought about those scorpions a lot but not as much as Calebas (sp?) who wasn't really a thing apparently

    dude, you need to sort your audio out. the music is louder than your voice most of the time
