    Only toyota can get away with ripping people off and they dont complain. This is not even a proper hybrid the fuel economy you get is 32mpg with the hilux 48v for 71 000 aud.
    For comparison the new triton gets 30mpg for much less money. A better ride, full time awd , a better looking interior , same offroad capabilities, and a 10 year warranty vs 5 with the hilux

    From $37K to $45K that's the minimum range of profit return every week I thinks it's not a bad one for me, now I have enough to pay bills and take care of my family.

    To think people fed it to Mitsubishi for how long the previous gen Triton was around for with only small updates here and there, yet Toyota can keep peddling the hilux by adding additional badges to choose from while looking like an ebay special, all while raising prices to eye watering levels and nobody bats an eye. I mean people are slowly waking up and looking at other options, but the Hilux just isn't a compelling buy, hasn't been for a while now, and no matter what they add on the inside, that interior is archaic as heck! People can keep beating that reliability drum as a reason why people keep buying them, but we've all seen that isn't entirely true and more than likely (stubborn) badge loyalty. Toyota need a new Hilux ASAP....

      Reliability ? 🤣🤣🤣🤣 They’re the kings of class action lawsuits, they cannot build a decent DPF system or airbox to save themselves.

    • @carsguide
      @carsguide  Před měsícem

      Toyota Australia doesn't list an official GCM for the 2024 Rogue, although its GVM is noted as 3050kg. That said, the SR5 double-cab pick-up it's based upon has a GCM of 5850kg.
