- In today's episode, we take you with us as we fly from our home airport Gothenburg Landvetter🇸🇪 to Kingston, Jamaica🇯🇲. On the way, we make stops in Frankfurt🇩🇪 and New York🇺🇸. This is a fairly typical travel day for us when we originate from Gothenburg to go to another less busy destination. We hope you enjoy coming along!😄

I am Jamaican who watches nonstop dan all the time and I was so excited when I saw that you all were flying here. A little disappointed that you all did not fly into montego bay airport because that is the REAL airport here in JA. Also, there are actually straight flights from sweden to Jamaica that goes into montego bay and straight flights from several other european destinations like, Amsterdam, Dusseldorf, the Netherlands and alot more that goes into Montego bay. So if you all happen to be coming here another time from europe, you dont have to take that loooooooooooooooong route we just watched.

Unexpected destination! It took me by surprise I really don’t know much about Jamaica to be honest so it will be interesting as I’m always thrilled to learn new things. It’s funny I never contemplated this destination as a possibility(carabean as a whole) I always think as being too expensive or rural… I have been only once to Guadeloupe, years ago and I loved it! I’m so looking forward to this Jamaican travel discovery!

Nearly 90 percent of international aeroplanes companies have the same engines over the centuries since the Wright Brothers who invented the first one hahahahahahaha. Looking at that aeroplane you guys flying from your home country Sweden yeah same as the ones here in Fiji islands. Meself flew in same one back in 2017. The only difference is the name of the aeroplane outside tailgate and colors. Respect

I wish you guys did a full review of Caribbean Airlines! It looks like you guys flew on their older aircraft the 737-800ng they recently acquired a few 737-max 8. They also rolled out a new preordering meals i wouldve loved to hear your thoughts on that.
Delayed bags are a pain. Mine Madeira - Venice were held up three days. I had to buy a pair of unmentionables!
I never check my baggage. Carry on all the way. I don't need that much stuff anyway. Less headaches all around.

Am curious … was British Airways not an option … GOT-LHR- LGW-KIN an option? Yes it would be a 3.5 hour ground time and airport change (train) in LON but perhaps doable? Of course then you wouldn’t have experienced Caribbean Airways (which used to be the former BWIA Airlines). 🤔

I had a nightmare experience once with bags when flying to Sydney, Australia.
So I was flying from London -> Singapore and then Singapore -> Hong Kong and then finally from Hong Kong -> Sydney (the only way we could get to Sydney was to fly to Hong Kong and fly from there. Anyway, we assumed that our bags would follow us though on each connection, however upon arrival into Sydney, our bags weren’t there. 😬
Then a message came on over the announcement system and the message listed all of my families names telling us to come to a desk. That was because our hadn’t come with us, but instead got a direct Qantas fight from London to Sydney.
I believe the only reason we actually got our bags were because we had name tags on all our bags.
Anyways sorry for the long rambling message.

I love Jamaica - such a beautiful country. How do you feel traveling to a country where they have anti-LGBT+ laws? I've seen couples on cruises refusing to get off in Jamaica because of it.
