I was in San Miniato between Florence and pisa in August. Visited Pisa and Florence. So damn beautiful and there were alot of tourists even though Covid is active. Highlight was the town of Vinci where Da Vinci Is from :)

Ma buongiorno. it's nice to see you are fine and spending some days in my birth country. If you have time remember to visit other wee cities in Tuscany and if you can go north to Liguria, where you can visit Genoa. it's a lovely weird town. Hugs from an Italian living in Scotland.

Was impressed by the color and detail which your camera was able to capture. New camera? The pizzas looked amazing.
I was amazed at the number of people who were NOT wearing face coverings. Aaarrrgh!; this being said from someone who lives on the west side of LA LA Land, and is used to seeing people wearing masks. Here in LA LA Land, most business have it posted at the door - No Mask. No Entry. Practicing Social Distancing inside the stores.That includes going to a local nursery to buy plants.
Do continue to share your times traveling. Gives many of us something to look forward to.

I cant believe how busy it was😱 I went the year prior in October19 and it was i guess a quater maybe of the crowd...If you haven't seen the Real David ever then its a MUST! It blew my mind away, its breathtaking🥰...Book a late slot online there wont be long queue and a lot less people inside....Actually a tip for all the beautiful places to see in Firenze🤗 sometime its good to be a night owl...(tourists queue for hours early morning)

Here in Italy we were locked-down from 10th March to mid May and nobody was even allowed to leave their own city. I assure you we are not “more lax” than somebody else. It’s just that we had covid before Australia.
@@albertocrescini2076 yes 2 months but you had a reopening plan after that and by June you had tourists coming in.
Here in Melbourne we had stage 4 restrictions since August 2, can't travel more than 5km radius from our house and have curfew and that is until at least oct 26. www.vic.gov.au/coronavirus-covid-19-restrictions-roadmap-metro-melbourne
We've been in stage 3 restrictions since March and can only travel for 4 reasons.
Also we cannot leave our country since March and have no update to when we will be able to.
In the meantime in terms of lax just look at videos of travel vloggers or even this video. Italy with this video, videos in albania, serbia, croatia etc doesn't seem that strict and not sure if masks are mandatory when you leave your house like we have.
Also Italy reopened when they still had hundreds of new cases. In Melbourne we had hundreds of cases and had strict restrictions. Australia now has double digit numbers and restrictions will continue at least in Victoria for weeks and weeks.
Anyway just noting how it looks.

Was there in 2018 pre COVID. Crowds were way more than in your video easily 10 times more. The Crowds in your video although lines are long are nothing in compared to normale
