I was just a little kid in the 80’s & thought I remembered & know a heck of a lot of it’s music, especially since it’s still about 90% of what I listen to. I definitely remember “Total Eclipse of the Heart” & “I Need A Hero,” but I’m just now realizing how much of Bonnie’s music had escaped my memory. But it’s really great hearing all this amazing music for what feels like the first time. ❤️❤️❤️

THIS SONG REMINDS ME MY BELOVED LATE WIFE and the moment we first met when we were only kids at one of those small parks around town hall,, in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon , Mexico, she was a real beauty , redhead, with a lovely curly hair, and those green eyes , so clear and so ´´smiley´´, and her presence and ´´good vibe´´ that made everybody to take notice of her presence in any place, i was simply stunned by her beauty and she was looking for a little dog called ´´canela´´ that was just at my feet, playing with one of my shoes, a real stike of good luck, so she came to me and watching her amused dog, told to me ´´you are so sweet, ´´canela´´ do not get close to people unless she trust them , you must love dogs like me, what´s your name???´´ damn, i could barely speak, but from deep within of me ,a little voice said ´´hello...you are...so...pretty...can i ..talk to...you??? and she started to laugh...ah, that beautiful laugh,her smile, I will never forget them as long as i live....SHE COULD SPEAK A LITTLE SPANISH, but i already could speak good enough english so we could talk, and that was what we did, we talked for hours and hours until her mom came to pick her up, she went visiting her uncle and they would be around three weeks, so we met at the same place all that time... the last day we met, she told me she was going to stay in the city longer , so we could go to school together... that was one of the happiest moments in my life... but she was just like the song depicts, someone who was ´´destinated´´ to be with you forever, even if you had another plans or if you had not notice such ´´destiny´´ for you... why to fight such design??? in my case, i just had to love her with all my heart and all my mind until the end, this song was one of her favorites and I used to sing it for her ALL THE TIME ...UNBOUND HAPPINESS , that was her gift to me... miss you so much ,babe...cannot write anymore...

The most amazing thing is that Bonnie only obtained the "Stewart" voice after an operation to remove tiny growths on her vocal chords, early songs sound far different. Conversely Rod Stewart had a minor throat cancer op in early 2000s - & doctors could not guarantee that he would come out of the op with the same gravely voice due to the muscle's memory being gone - thank goodness for rock and roll that he regained the pre-op voice so recognised around the world!
