Dubbed “The Telecom War,” it has defined generations of players and shaped the history of entire games. In Korea, the crucible from which esports emerged, no teams have battled for longer than SK Telecom T1 and KT Rolster.

Forgot to add that KT wasn't able to win a single best of 3 or 5 all year in 2017 against SKT even when SKT had their slump in summer still no losses.

Fighting Dreamers and I'm talking about 2017 when SKT had a better stable line up. SKT's line up isn't as good as it was of course SKT is ganna lose to KT
Should have at least mentioned the two times SKT and KT met in the proleague playoffs in 2014 and 2016. KT won 4-2 in the grand finals in 2014 and won two consecutive series 4-3 in the 2016 semifinals. The SC2 rivalry is arguably much closer and much older than the league of legends rivalry in which SKT has basically always had the upper hand save 1 finals and 1 other playoff series.
I remember growing up with slayerS_boxer. My favorite SC1 player of all time. His legendary Terran rushes was freaking amazing. Man, how times have changed.

Good video overall but disappointed with the lack of talk on the KT vs. SKT Rivalry in SC2 and even the rush through Brood War. You spend the majority of the video on League of Legends, which is fine considering how huge it is and how the rivalry played out there, but hardly talk about important SC as a series was to the rivalry in comparison.
Again, you all make tremendous content! However, for a lot of people, this is the only piece of esports history that they'll ever get on the subject. Being more accurate and objective about the old days of esports and how it directly impacted how we found ourselves in this modern era is incredibly important. You are THE content creators in the space in a lot of ways and I hope you can continue to improve your videos for the future.

@@elisabettajdj335 Yes it did matter, it was much smaller than BW, I'm not sure if your goal is to arbitrarily 'show off your knowledge' thinking others don't know (which at it's peak was arguably some of the biggest anyhting ever was) but that is a red herring- it is totally irrelevant to the point, I'm not sure fi you thought these were showmatches; if they didn't care about i.. The Nexon Studio did attract big crowds for Proleague in SC2 and there were enough people to certainly care about it; interantionally as well, that is what Wolf and Valdes casted.
What you ignored, if you understand English is that they *rushed through BW*. That doesn't mean they talked about it too much, it means too little, if you don't understand that thisi is what i means in English.

It was freakin awesome because we got to see both teams go all out on their strongest/favorite champions in a deciding match.
The rule itself is really controversial because it forced both teams to change their strategy, and you could find endless arguments on whether or not it’s a perfect way to decide the better team.
It did certainly bring the HYPE. I wish they brought it back for some tournament. I’d love to see another mid laner mirror match outplay.

I have been going through your the story of series and I love it. One player I have been curious about and know very little about is Easyhoon. I see a decent amount of Faker and SKT stories, but Im interested to know Easyhoon's side of the story from people just knowing him as mostly a sub, but still being a world champion.
