Remembering the insane press and excitement surrounding, "Oh, Hello!", and hearing it recalled like an ephemeral memory haphazardly put together is surreal. Too much tuna indeed.
Conan, thank you so much for the David Byrne interview. Ever since Talking Heads burst on the scene in the 70's they stood alone as innovative, talented, entertaining and inspiring. More than anything, they evolved and never sold out. I love David Byrne for his amazing talent, sense of humor and insight. Please have him back soon. He's totally cool in every sense of the word. ❤

One of the most enjoyable interviews; I could listen to their talks for hours. Two guys who achieved so much in their respective fields, it's fascinating to hear their thoughts- including John Mulaney!

Don't see David doing media much. Conan is privileged.
I see him on talk shows/panels all the time so I have the complete opposite impression
He’s on a big media tour for the re release of stop making sense!
David's so changed from that introverted (offstage) guy in the '80s who admits he had problems with communication, even with his own band back then.
He's so relaxed now, laughs easily, and seems to enjoy talking to others now.
I just finished reading about David and found out he believes he's on the autistic spectrum, and that affected his communication skills while aiding his music in the past. Well that explains that...

Totally agree about laughing at your own jokes. I think the strategy of classic funk bands is similar; if you have enough people on stage, it's GONNA be a party regardless of the room

While there is a big difference between seeing a live show and adapting said performance for TV.. they do have one on Netflix. It is still very funny.
