Hey there Graham from Ned in Spain. I have not seen this but it looks incredible. I looked it up and it seems you are not alone in feeling this is a classic powerful and honest film. It made me think of some other family dramas like " The Son's Room" by Nanni Moretti, "Like Father Like Son " by Hirokazu Kore-Eda, " Musuko" by Yoji Yamada, " La Corruzione" by Mauro Bolognini.

I saw the Radiance trailer of Misunderstood and immediately decided to order it. I would like also the Spirit of the Beehive also in Blu ray !!

My old film teacher once told me that this was one of the only films that made him cry. For that (and also Anthony Quayle, I guess), I kinda wanna watch it.

Definitely the most emotional for me of Radiance's releases so far

I don’t really look too much into views, but I was kind of disappointed that this one wasn’t viewed as much as the others as I really wanted people to discover this film.

Absolutely terrific film. Wasnt sure what to expect going in but wow this was so gripping. Some of the best child performances have ever seen, and Quayle as the father gives a really nuanced performance too, as could have been 2 dimensional but was far from it. This film worked because the characterisation and the performances seemed plausible and realistic. Psychologically very smart film.
