gotta get a bittersweet life 4k from second sight
I've seen 32 films in June, 28 of them were Shaw Brother films.
The best were a rewatch of Black Angel 1 (and 1st of July part 2 which I abolutely love), Dragon Swamp, Twin Blades of Doom, The Bells of Death, The Fastest Sword.
Hi Graham. I loved the Man Who Haunted Himself, what a gem. Yes, I suspect difficult to review without Spoilers. It was a first time watch for me. I had heard about it and had a vague concept of it but ultimately I didn’t fully see the reveal. No wonder it was one of Sir Roger’s favorite films of his. It was excellent.
I had it confused with some other film, which I now need to figure out what that was.
Absolute cracker of a film. Moore is terrific and I had no idea where it was going, but I loved where it went.

Just had the ice 🧊 pirates new release on warner archive
I did not buy any blu-ray or 4K titles the last month or so as I was kind of saving up for the upcoming weeks/month. However, I did get A Bridge Too Far and North By Northwest on blu-ray as a belated birthday present.
As for the upcoming month or so I will definitely buy Strip Nude for Your Killer. and Tchao Pantin. I already have the Arrow Giallo Essentials yellow box, but unfortunately that is US region and does not work on my current player. But I love Strip Nude for Your Killer so much I need to have it working in my house and I will probably get some extra Shameless giallo titles while I'm at it. Plus the Camp Arrow sale will most likely cause a hole in my wallet as I will pick up some titles from that ongoing sale as well. But oh well, I just started a new job and will have some more money to spend on great essential films for my collection!
